They aren’t eerily alike, but even his mother Georgeta has commented to Sebastian that he has kind of a younger doppelganger in the business. “He’s very good at what he does, too,” she told him.

Working out is the bane of any actor’s existence, but if you aren’t doing it alone, it’s more fun - it’s why Sebastian and Richard team up every once in a while to keep up with and challenge each other. 

The first time they met in town, Sebastian had accidentally “stolen” Richard’s coffee at Whisper Creek Café - nowadays, they take the piss out of the baristas by ordering for “Seb” or “Rich”, depending on their respective moods. 

Along with Max, Tom and Chris, they have a bit of a book club going on. Usually, one of them will find a good book, and it’ll get passed along to the next, so that at the end of a 2-3 week cycle everyone has read 5 books.

There isn’t a lot that drives Irina up the walls about Richard, but every time his sweaty workout clothes end up next to the hamper, or all over their bedroom floor, she is inclined to pile them onto his pillow, just to spite him. 

Irina and Richard don’t always see eye to eye about things, but them discussing different matters hasn’t ever ended in an argument they couldn’t resolve. 

At first, she was a little apprehensive about dating again after splitting from Bradley, because she didn’t want Lea to get attached and then suffer, if things didn’t work out. Luckily for her, both Lea and Richard took to each other so easily that they’re two peas in a pod by now. 

Without fail, if Irina wakes up at night and realises that Richard is on the other side of the bed, she’ll scoot over till she’s moulded against his side or back. He’s her source of warmth, and she falls back asleep way more easily this way.

Max won’t admit it out loud, but Richard and Sebastian do look like long lost brothers.

Funny enough, he always thought Richard was taller, and when they met for the first time at the BAFTAs, he was surprised that he towered over him. 

Due to the breakout successes of Bodyguard and Condor, they have been pitted against each other for the possible inheritance of the iconic James Bond role for the past couple of years. Neither of them is much fussed about it, if anything, Max and Richard are making fun of that fact amongst each other and during interviews.

Max doesn’t envy Richard’s Marvel success one bit - not that he doesn’t enjoy such films, or would find it interesting to work on one, but to him the loss of anonymity and privacy would not be worth it.

The very first time Sophia had met Richard had been in LA a few years back, while she had been stressed out of her mind between work meetings and keeping tabs on a sick Lisa from a distance who had been with her grandmother in Sudbury. She had looked up, thrown a “hi, didn’t know you were in LA, too,” at him, patted his shoulder and finished with a “come to dinner next week, will ya? Chris misses you almost as much as I do.” It had taken her a phone call to Chris to realise that she hadn’t been talking to Seb, at all.

Sophia loves Richard’s accent for two reasons - it sounds very soft-spoken, more so than the usual American accent, and she only understood every third word at first, which made her feel like a detective trying to figure out what he was on about.

Now that Richard is also part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she has even more reason to push him and Chris at each other, so that Irina and her can have girls’ days out together. 

Sophia feels a little bad about never having returned a book he lent her a while back, but she honestly doesn’t know where it disappeared to.

Taron actually doesn’t remember how he met Richard - he literally can’t, because the alcohol was flowing so freely at the party they were at that the guests, him included, got blackout drunk. The first thing he actually remembers is that he woke up the next morning on a strange couch clutching a lego T-Rex, and with Richard’s feet in his face.

They squabble and they banter, and they ridicule each other, but if anyone dares to say a bad word about either one of them, the other will fight them like a lion. 

Before that memorable Rocketman scene, Taron and Richard actually met to practice kissing, much to the amusement of everyone involved. 

Whenever they get together and order something, Taron will steal part of Richard’s food, just to piss him off. Once he even ate it all, while Richard was on the phone, and ordered a new one, claiming he had taken so long that the waitress had retrieved his plate. He will die on that hill.
