Can we talk about how stunning Gigi looks in her latest photos. This woman is growing a whole ass baby, and she still looks so graceful. Even sounds graceful when she’s cursing me to the high hell about putting the baby in her and giving her back pains and bladder issues. I don’t think I’ve ever been in more awe of her.

No special wishes except for you to stop by at some point today? I would love to see you. My oldest daughter is my youngest is in California. But that’s okay, one is better than none. Una is getting ready for college and since lily is going to university of Boston she has just been here lately, which I’m excited about.

I’ll try and see if Taron or Richard maybe can take Gracie for a sleep over, that way I could, ye know, do whatever we fance.

That’s the same with a lot of things though, love. I don’t even remember how I drive home from my most common driven routes now. I kind of just black out and suddenly I’m turning my car off in my garage. Somewhat dangerous. I’d be limiting the sarcastic comments to your actions, though, right? Oh, bugger, Colin, sorre for vanishin’ on ye. Kid got the sniffles and what with the bleepin’ pandemic it meant I had te keep her home even though she wasn’t realle all tha’ sick. Oh my, I absolutele know what ye mean, though. On the tram and the train it’s the same, ye sit down and suddenly yer two towns over with no idea how ye got there. Hmm, well, the wee one can learn that, too, if we’re bein’ careful, don’t ye think?

You think we are less pressured to look perfect? I don’t know, I feel like it’s the other way round - we feel the pressure even more, especially reaching a certain age. 

Sometimes it’s a right pain, when us adults know so much ‘bout what’s good in theory but then we’re also expected te actually live by that. Annoyin’, sometimes, I think. But of course yer right and honest, that woman is a bloody star for fightin’ back. Really? Or do ye mean you, as a Brit in Hollywood feel more pressured? I meant as a Brit on British telly, not puttin’ Hollywood inte ‘he mix. And, pah, age. Yer a little lad, still.

I’m the same. It’s funny how, once ye know how te do it, it happens on auto pilot. Ah, an amused Jodie makes for a relaxed Jodie which makes for a more patient teacher, I think. So the commentary is very welcome.

Mmm, still. You never know. Thanks for the vote of trust, though. And the offer still stands - I think that knowing how to swim is essential for everyone. Drowning is one of the leading causes of death in the US, and I have no clue why, since we’re literally surrounded by it on three sides. Oh please, that was all my mum, I had little say in this. And I cried a lot. I hated moving, first from my grandparents to a big city I knew no one in, and didn’t speak the language. Then to the US, where middle and high school kids could be really, really shitty to other kids who weren’t like them. I’m mostly American by now, but… some things remain at the back of your head, and you just don’t get them out. I still get emotional over going back to Romania. It’s silly, but it’s there. 

Mmm, I’d start with a swim vest - those are pretty neat for kids, you can ask Soph, too, she uses them for CJ. I feel like those arm floaties just hinder everyone moving. 

Ye thinkin’ that I’m too trustin? But I’d still trust ye with helping Gracie, so there ye are. I agree ‘bout the swimmin’, though. I think between movin’ and all the changes, it sort of slipped through the cracks to get her started on it earlier. Oh, I did not know that drownin’ was such a big number! No, Sebastian, donche dare say that. It’s not silly, I’d say. I mean, I could never really feel it like ye did, because I lived in Huddersfield all me childhood and then only moved to London at some point when I was in me twenties. But that’s still all England, even if us shat lassies think the people in London are a bit mental. Anyway, what I meant te say was that I think I can still imagine the different feelin’s a little and I think there all good, ye don’t need te feel weird by it. And ye turned into a bloody fine bloke, so there’s that. A swim vest, that could be good. I have the floaties, but I like that vest idea.

There is, or at least a form of addiction, and it makes people suffer socially, too. It really is, and especially our business is meddling with the norms in ways we should not let it. Right? I feel like she should have kicked him and told him to stick his opinion up his arse, but she’s too nice for that. She is, she’s getting there. I love how open she is about it, it’s really important to show the world the behind-the-scenes, because they’re not as alluring as the camera lense might want you to think.

I know ‘bout that niceness. I can have a bit of a gob, but I don’ think I would have the stones te get right up in ‘is face ‘bout that. Ah, have te say, that’s what I like ‘bout doin’ British telly and films. I mean, we can be just as superficial and bonkers ‘bout plastic, but I feel we as entertainers have less pressure te be all allurin’ and sparklin’ and perfect. Or maybe ‘tis just in me head.

Taron knew of Jodie, before he actually met her. Due to his dad loving Dr Who and watching every episode almost religiously, he had cheered for her being appointed the first female Doctor, and, when he met her, he had fangirled about this a lot internally. He might have also asked for a selfie for his dad, but kept it for himself, also.

Due to Gracie being somewhere in between his own twins and his youngest sister in age, he’s developed a big brother/uncle relationship with her, and is always happy to indulge her, when they all meet up.

There’s something utterly charming about Jodie not hiding her broad accent, and he always makes fun of those Americans who get a huge question mark over their heads, when they don’t quite understand what she’s on about. 

Taron has never seen Jodie back down from a challenge, ever. And that, without a doubt, makes him try to be more daring, too, because surely, she cannot be that wrong, can she?
