Thou Shalt Not Die

Aubrey takes a step back. “I already told you, sir.. I am not interested.” He looked. Confused? She couldn’t tell. Her mind was there and yet he couldn’t understand. His steps moved quickly. Before she could reach for her gun a hand grasped onto her arm. Rough to the point it could have left a bruise.. Fangs prolonged from his mouth.
The sharp pain was quick. Sure she was dead but that doesn’t mean it hurt any less. A sting as her light pours in flow with her blood. “W-Wait! Don’t..” The words didn’t even finish leaving her lips. The gentleman burned away into ash.
Aubrey lets out a sigh.. A hand going up to the nape of her neck. Ocean eyes looks down at her scarf quickly wrapping around herself. What is with these people here? After Bright Falls.. After Alan.. She was stuck. Wandering. Pondering if he was alright. It’s been years. No word from anyone. No Alan. No Barry.. It was.. Strange. More than she was use to..
There was a furrow of a brow before she walks out from the dark alley. A frown settled on her lips. Whatever that thing was.. It was just hungry. Looking for food.. Now dead people she could understood. But cannibalism wasn’t the way.
Vannevar: You stole my face, Sir. Corvus: I wore it better.

Aubrey slides over a small vile necklace of her blood and a big bouquet of red roses. “Well it’s never too late to celebrate the holiday. Happy Valentine’s day, Prince Vannevar.”

.....out of necessity
Aubrey looks to Vannevar. There was a room of men and women, his hand slides down her back as she takes a deep breath. A reminder that she had to do this. No one betrayed him and got away with it. Says the Prince. His word is law. Whether they liked it or not. But small chatter and whispers can only be heard when she enters shutting the door behind herself.
They stare at her, licking their lips. She knew they could smell her. They inch closer before pouncing at her. Her body lights up. Small flickers of light shined from the crack beneath the door. Screams could be heard until silence..
When she exits the room, her eyes goes to Vannevar. "...They're gone now.." She fiddles with her fingers as he steps forward. His fingers slips upnder her chin lifting her head. Words of encouragement. Praising her for her good work. A small smile breaks through her features.

Aubrey laid in bed. Her hands to her stomach. Did he really live in this tower alone? Others were present at the will of Prince Vannevar. She did always enjoy being around him. There was something about him. Maybe they had interest in each other more than they thought. But Aubrey.. She holds onto the quiet moments.
Her eyes may have been shut for only for a few moments. When she felt something by her thighs. She quickly jumped lifting the covers from her. “Vannevar, you scared me.. I thought you were.” His hand shoves her down against the bed.
Her eyes grow wide at his forwardness. Moving his hand from her shoulder to her throat. Did she do something wrong already?? The smirk he gave as he leans to her ear. He whispers something. She couldn’t hear it, but whatever it was. Her body grows hot from it. Nothing that would harm him.
“What sort of Craft do you do?” (Vannevar)
Myth and Magic Sentence Starters -- accepting
“ I’m a spirit worker by nature, ” Connor answered, CAREFULLY evaluating the vampire in front of him. Analyzing him. Every SHIFT in posture, in gaze, trying to read him for any signs of aggression or MALICIOUS intent. “ But I’ve practiced dream magic and I’m learning alchemy. ”
Vampires were notoriously dangerous. Connor had never met one face-to-face before. This one had a STARTLING supernatural aura that oozed with power, fluctuating and shimmering like a living thing on its own. This vampire was not just any old leech. Although Connor was tense, there was a burning curiosity in his eyes. This stranger that had strolled into his shop with PURPOSE...what secrets were behind those eyes? What history did he carry?
“ I have a feeling you’re not here for me though, are you? ” Connor said finally, adjusting the rotating display on the counter next to him that held sets of crystal pendulums. He was stocking it when the visitor walked in.
