Cassie had been on a lot of dates, but she had never been more nervous than she was right now. This was going to be her first outing with Roy, and she wanted it to be perfect. How else was she going to convince him to ask her out? And he has to ask her out. There was very little she wanted more than to date the red-headed archer. She checked over her outfit one more time. She was wearing her favorite blue summer dress (the night was unexpectedly warm, thank goodness), a pair of black gladiator sandals, cute silver hoop earrings, and she'd put her hair up into a bun, leaving a few strands out to frame her face. Cassie hoped that Roy would like what he saw.

It's Time to Win
Today was the day. The first competition of the year, and everyone was getting ready. Artemis could see Ollie talking to the opposing coach, who stood stiffly next to Ollie as the blonde laughed about something. He must be fun during practices, Artemis thought. Her teammates were all getting ready as well, getting their equipment ready, everyone looking at least a little nervous. She couldn't help but feel nervous herself because it was her first time actually competing. What if she messed up in front of everyone? Would they laugh at her, or just be disappointed? Would Ollie not want her on the team anymore?
Trying to shake those thoughts from her head, she walked over to Roy and Cissie, who were setting all of their equipment down by the team's bench. "You guys ready for this?" she asked as she set her stuff down by theirs.
