Sonic Movie 5 thoughts

Ok I just had an epiphany

I know I said I didn’t want Silver and Blaze in the movie universe cause there’s so many things that could go wrong with them, and I wasn’t really sure what they would even make them do

But

What if instead of following the Sonic 06 script like we all thought they would they’d combine it with the plot of Sonic Rush, cause I don’t like the idea of them completely overlooking it and focusing only on Silver

In my mind the story would go more or less like this

Something evil threatens the Sol empire and Blaze as it’s protector goes off to find out what it is, meanwhile Silver tries to find the catalyst of his ruined future, it turns out the answer for both of their problems lies with the same blue hedgehog, so they make an alliance out of conviencience to kill him together

They get separated and Blaze ends up finding and fighting Sonic first but throughout the battle Sonic manages to use the power of friendship on Blaze making her learn what real friends are and that asking for help and accepting support is not a weakness, which leads to a significant shift in her initially aloof demeanor making her realize that there’s no shame in embracing herself and her emotions

She learns that Sonic isn’t actually the threat her and Silver were looking for and that his world is also endangered by the same thing

She joins in with team Sonic but Silver still isn’t convinced of his innocence and he decides to finish his mission with or without his ally, which leads to Blaze defending Sonic and having an epic fight with Silver (that she wins obv)

And uhhhhhhh that’s all I’ve got for now lol

Eventually Silver comes around and they all team up to defeat the great evil trying to take over all of their worlds (BURNING BLAZE APPEARANCE) and Silver and Blaze go from stranger-who-I-have-to-trust to real friends

Throw in moments of Sonic and Blaze’s rivalry and a Shadow cameo of him roundhouse kicking Silver at the back of his head and we’re golden

Also maybe add the Jeweled Scepter somewhere in the narrative

I’ll probably come back to this when I come up with more ideas
