Log 12: Record 2

Subject 015 continues to show improvements after the recent implants detailed in log 11: record 10. Although her movement is still at a minimum, it’s rather clear that her hearing has been quite affected. It’s almost to a point where she can’t even whisper as it sounds almost like a booming yell to her. It’s quite a shame really but in due time, she will learn to adjust and use her heightened senses to her advantage.

Despite my best wishes, Reiko has insisted that I cut her recovery time short and proceed to the next experiment. Though I fear that if not enough time is given to the poor woman, her willpower will crumble and inevitably die. The prospect that she has even made this far alone is indeed rather impressive but I don’t wish to push my luck further. If my perfect subject thus far dies now, my reputation and research will become damaged beyond repair. I won’t allow someone who is of higher ranking than me but knows nothing push me around. I shall proceed as I wish.

As I write this report, it appears something has happened with 015. Just when I thought her recovery was going steady, it looks like I must take a few steps back. Afterall, I can’t just let her claw her ears off. I will get subject control to help subdue her while I figure out another way to make the adjustments easier for her...
