(BTW! @theveilinthedeathchamber is my rp side blog, and these are all footages of me rpying. I own these vids, despite not owning all the scripts. The person who made the script is tagged here on tumblr.)
So it’s a cold and stormy night, and I want to get online in character. Any preferences? I’ve done Sirius, Remus and Teddy before, but feel free to recommend me a challenge.
In the meantime, here are some bloopers from Pinocchio...
Alfred stomped upstairs, blinking back tears and gritting his teeth. This happened every year, on his dad’s birthday he’d ask Doug if he could see him, write a card, make a phone call, anything, and Doug said no.
He didn’t understand why, he knew his dad had done some bad things, not that he remembered much, but he knew his dad was a good man. He vividly remembered one time he’d been ill, and the two of them had laid on the sofa bed eating ice-cream and watching Charlottes Web, it was one of the best memories of his childhood. Someone who was capable of that couldn’t be that bad.
It’s been 8 years, he had to be better by now, he wasn’t sure why Doug was keeping them apart.
He slammed his bedroom door, his breathing heavy as he pulled open his draws, getting his school backpack and throwing clothes into it.
He was going to see his dad, Doug couldn’t stop him, he was going.
He quickly packed and walked down the stairs, frowning, he’d just storm past Doug, he wouldn’t be able to stop him.
“Alfred,” Doug snapped, getting up from his seat in the living room, “Where are you going? It’s 10 pm it’s your curfew.”
“I’m going out,” Alfred snapped back, his voice shaking and cracking slightly.
Doug stopped, frowning and looking Alfred up and down, he let out a small huff, “…Fine. But I want you back by morning.”
Alfred grit his teeth, turning his head to glare at Doug as he opened the front door, “I’m not coming back,” he growled as he slammed the door, walking quickly down the road, beginning to jog, making his way towards the centre of town, where he knew they used to live.
He just wanted to say hi, re-introduce himself, get to know his dad again.
He walked to the police station, he knew the apartment was near here, but…
He walked down the alleyways, trying to find somewhere he recognised.
But he didn’t recognise any of this. He didn’t know this place at all.
He swallowed hard, walking up to someone, “Hey, I don’t suppose you know where Arthur Kirkland lives do you?”
The man frowned and shook his head, “Nah kid, sorry, he’s not lived here for like 8 years.”
“8 years..?” Alfred mumbled in return, that was as long as they’d lived with Doug.
He’d just left?
Had he even cared they’d left?
Maybe he’d been glad.
Maybe he’d not wanted them back?
Alfred’s breath shook as he walked back towards the station.
Where should he go now? He couldn’t go back to Doug’s, not after the fight they’d had, not after making such a big thing about it.
Doug probably already knew, and that’s why he’d never let them try to contact him.
He felt his breath quiver and tears begin to drip down his face.
His whole life, he’d always believed that one day they’d go back to their dad.
He was almost 18 now, he knew once he hit 18 their dad didn’t have to take him back, he didn’t have to have anything to do with him.
But he’d wanted to go back, he wanted to see his dad again, see him like he was before. He was such a happy, cheery man, he always knew how to make him feel better.
He just wanted that again.
He sat on the floor, against a wall, crying quietly, burying his head in his hands.
He had no where to go now, he had no friends that would take him in.
And what about Maddie? He’d just left her, why had he done that? He was meant to protect her…
He felt so terrible.
He jolted slightly as he felt someone sit next to him, looking over quickly and seeing Doug smiling softly back at him.
Alfred leant over to hug the older man, sobbing against his shoulder as he hugged back.
“I know, Alfred, I know,” Doug said quietly, rubbing Alfred’s back softly, “It’s ok…”
Alfred tried to speak through tears, stuttering. Doug shushed him, hugging him tighter, “It’s ok Alfred…”
