ADVICE FOR CREATING ADS AND MAKING MODLIFE EASIER
These are not rules to follow in order to send an ask on this blog, but following this format would go a long way towards making running this blog easier for the mods and finding you the people you want to write with.
Your ad should include at least some of the following: -Your age + age range (this is required) -What you prefer to be called -Timezone & Availability -Preferred genres -Preferred pairings -Brief summary of plots, ideas, characters
Put relevant information as close to the start as you can and use commas to seperate items in a list. -Any fandoms, genres, ages, goals, etc. should be accessible with a brief skim. Seperate lists with a comma (,) for easier tagging.
Do not overcomplicate the formatting in your ad -This is not the place to show off your aesthetic. Keep formatting simple and clear.
Be specific! -People are less likely to take chances on posts that are not clear about what they want. "Someone to fiddle and fart around with" is less likely to get replies than "25+ nb looking for 20+ long term, fluffy romance."
Keep your post short and sweet! -Longer posts are less likely to be read+replied to because they make finding relevant and complatible information more difficult to parse. We all have a history of dealing with different types of writers, you don't have to tell us about it in your ad.
Avoid putting your discord handle in your ad. -This is more a safety thing. This is a front-facing blog and it'll help cut down on any spam you recieve from bots. Consider sharing your tumblr before moving to apps.
