Klaus...
C'mon...
It's still me.
The Man Who Would Fall for a Possibility
To my darling Klaus,
I'm sorry I had to leave so soon. My work was calling me and I'm sure they can't handle the base. Last time I one of them thought I left, the kitchen was set on fire. The last thing I want is you coming home here seeing it in ashes. That's not the best welcome home but knowing you, you would laugh at me covered in soot.
I know I left abruptly and I'm sorry about that. I really am. I still remember the kiss we did right before I left for the airport. I didn't want to let go but there were some things I had to do. It's sad that we weren't able to finish our talk about you returning to Badlands. I know it's a very sensitive topic and I understand why. I just want you to know that whatever decision it is, I'll respect it.
Make your decision, take your time on it. Don't think about what anyone else wants. Think about what you want. If you can see me being with you in the future you're free to come back here. If not, well, I've known loss before and I think could handle this. But I'll never forget your blue eyes and how they looked at me. I won't forget those moments we shared right in front of that piano in the rec room. I'll never forget anything that made me happy. You made me happy.
Whatever your decision is, thank you.
Sincerely,
Sam
P.S. I hope you like the turtle.
[Inside the envelope was Sam's turtle charm.]
Yer Father is an Odd One.
Sam looked at the aging doctor who had himself situated in the middle of his llamas and sheep. The man barely paid attention to them throughout their stay save for a few conversations with Klaus and mealtimes together. The engineer wasn't sure if it was just age or plain loneliness that drove the Patriarch of the Fleischer family to name every single llama and sheep after his late wife, Agatha.
"Don't look at Agatha."
"Don't touch Agatha."
"Why are you staring at my Agatha?"
Few of the many things he heard from Hayden, Klaus's father He wasn't right in the head. Then again, his sons weren't either and that didn't make things all surprising. Though conversations in Klaus during his stay told him that the man wasn't always like this and it was sure a damn pity for it to end this way.
"Ah don't wanna ask this but." Sam looked at Klaus with a worried yet disturbed eyes underneath those goggles. "I do hope yer dad doesn't do like..."
He looked at Hayden brushing his llamas and then back at Klaus. "More than that."
Argentina
Argentina struck Sam as an exotic place and Samuel was as good as lost. The Engineer needed to head to Klaus's father. He already had the place marked on his map but how to get there was another thing. He looked at the map he bought to see where he had to go, unlike the thing he's holding, every god damn sign was in Spanish and he couldn't understand a thing. He didn't speak Spanish after all and languages weren't his forte.
The Texan however was lucky enough to encounter someone who spoke his language. The local said that he knew the man he spoke of and even called him an "odd doctor who slept on the field." Odd he was but an efficient man, they said. People didn't mind him because he treated them for a small fee or he wouldn't charge them at all. Looked like the Fleischer patriarch was liked in the area too.
So Sam followed the directions. Little did he know that he had to walk farther. The place was rather remote, a bit difficult to get to when you're not used to very rough terrain. Samuel always had his truck to help him traverse it and Badlands wasn't that unpredictable. It was just plain flat with huge rocks. It took an hour before he saw from far away flock of sheep. Minutes later, he got there but was tha---
Klaus?
"KLAUS!" He yelled out, seeing a man lying on the field surrounded by resting sheep. It was him, he knew that face. He ran to the doctor. "I've been lookin' for y---!"
... Only to find out that it wasn't him.
Well.
Wasn't that embarrassing

That First Time
Y'sure about this? /The engineer looked at the doctor in front of him as he took out his gun.
