hi tags, i've debated making this post but here i ho. it's the typical "i hate making these posts because of x, y, z", but for the past year or so i've made various posts regarding my mum's health journey and in april she suddenly passed. so it's safe to say that life hasn't been the greatest on my side of the internet.
i won't go into detail, and to cut a long story short, i have £150 in my bank to last me until i go back to work— and right now, it's looking like that'll be in a few months. this money doesn't include my student grant (after an extension that i have to finish my uni work/dissertation, etc.) but it has limited my ability to work (obviously), along with having to be around for my father who is the only family i have. we're not doing great, and that much is expected. with my father being retired, i am the only person to make money (minus a pension but it's not a lot, and the money we received from my mother's has to last my father the rest of his life). i'm paying rent for my university flat (until my contract is up in july), along with helping my father out, food, necessities, etc.
on top of this tumblr decided to shadow my commissions blog (sebegifs) which is the only way i'm making income (yes, i'm still working on the one commission i owe), which was really the kicker. commissions are still live and open, just paused on the sake of being posted (information here is still valid if you're interested in anything before a new blog gets set up) but if you decide on anything, please message me here.
i'm once again not asking for much— i say this every time but it is true— or if there's really a point to this post, but i just wanted to say that my new commissions blog (fingers crossed) is a work in progress over at @elsgifs (within the next few days all information will be there and live, i'm just having a hard time with focusing on it so maybe this post is rendering itself useless but forgive me i'm also extremely scatterbrained), and i'm more than happy to provide anyone with gif packs, gif icons, rp base icons, etc. that i can (while i'm not in work and need an extra few dollars to pass me by). so any questions about that, please don't hesitate to ask me (chances are if you submit a request it can be set up/released sooner than later)
