Jensen has never been so unbelievably torn in his god damn life. The infuriating woman he just encountered had him feeling all kinds of crazy. One minute he wanted to push her into oncoming traffic and the next he wanted to ravage her.
“I need a fucking drink.” Jensen fumes under his breath, stalking up to his new co-star’s apartment door. He pounds hard on the dark wood, barely flinching when it’s ripped open.
“Hey, man.” Jared’s hazel eyes squint suspiciously at him. “What’s with the banging? You alright?”
“Booze. I need booze.” Jensen huffs catching his friend off guard. He doesn’t wait for a reaction, pushing his way inside without another word.
“Uhh. Sure thing.” Jared chuckles heading towards the refrigerator. “Do you want to tell m...”
“You won’t believe what just happened to me, dude!” Jensen explodes theatrically. “This nuthouse chick slammed right into the front of my car...and I was parked!”
“Uh oh.” Realization twists Jared’s handsome face into a pained expression. “You’re the Ken doll.”
“I’m the...what?” Jensen snaps with his eyes flashing red.
Jared knows the unfortunate incident all too well, the familiar story something he heard from his roommate minutes ago. What are the fucking odds? This is going to be a hilarious and also dramatic filled afternoon.
“So funny story...” Jared starts cackling uncontrollably. “My roommate came home...”
“What the hell?” You gasp loudly from the doorway, making both heads snap in your direction. “Why is...”
“Uh Jensen...” Jared sheepishly cuts you off, waving you further into the kitchen. “This is my roommate Y/N.”
“You live here too?!” Jensen’s features are painted with anger. And you refuse to admit that it makes him look even hotter than usual.
“Why is there a freaking Ken doll standing in our apartment, Padalecki?”
“Y/N...this is my friend Jensen.” He lazily replies, already aware that no one’s even listening to him.
“If I’m a god damn Ken doll then you’re a...a friggin ditzy Barbie.” Jensen spits out, immediately regretting how lame that sounded. You’re really throwing him off his game and he has no clue why.
“Right.” You scoff amused. “Such a Ken doll.”
“At least I can drive, princess.” Jensen retorts making your mouth drop in shock.
“I can drive! I told you it was an accident!”
“Guys...” Jared tries to interject but fails miserably. “Y’all are giving me a big headache.”
“I’m not hanging around her, man.” Jensen announces, refusing to entertain this bullshit any longer. You were all supposed to grab dinner tonight but there’s no way in hell that’s happening now.
“Yeah this is so not gonna work.” You rush out, gesturing to yourself and the two tall men in front of you.
“Well tough shit.” Jared’s voice rises at you both. “You’re my roommate and he’s my new co-star so deal with it.”
“Co-star...” Your surprised eyes dart frantically from one guy to the other. No no no.
“Yeah he’s playing the other Winchester brother. His character is Dean.”
“This pretty boy is supposed to be bad ass enough to battle monsters?” You snort loudly. “I don’t think so.”
“Don’t you know not to judge a book by its cover, princess.” Jensen glares harshly causing you to shudder.
“Stop it with the princess shit or I swear to god...”
“Hey!” Jared shouts catching everyone’s attention. “I’m pretty to ya know, Y/N. And you never said I couldn’t hunt monsters.” He finishes with a pout making you and Jensen both roll your eyes.
“The princess is just upset that she can’t drive for shit and has to pay for both of our cars to get fixed. Don’t take it personally, dude.” Jensen smirks only at you.
You laugh humorlessly at him, “Oh you little...”
“Ok enough!” Jared groans deeply. “I have an idea that will help us all. Both of you follow me.”
You watch your gigantor roommate stride fast out of the kitchen, his voice yelling for you both to hurry up as he disappears into the hallway. You reluctantly find him waiting in the middle of your bedroom, wearing a mischievous smile. Ugh this can’t be good.
“Why are we in a bedroom, dude?” Jensen wonders carefully. “If you’re trying to make a threesome happen then I will smack you.”
You shutter unable to hide your reaction, “Come on, Jared. We all know Ken dolls have nothing to work with down there.” You eye Jensen’s crotch then flick your attention to his pissed face.
“I swear, woman.” Jensen growls making a tingle run down your spine. “You will lose this game.”
“Wow. You guys are a joy to be around.” Jared laughs, unable to wipe off the crooked smile adorning his face. “I hate to do this but I think it’s the only way.”
”Do what?” You question watching your roommate bolt towards the exit, he quickly swings it closed before peaking his head back in.
“Y’all aren’t leaving until you learn to play nice. So act accordingly.” Jared directs with a wink before slamming the door shut.
"He’s such a child.” You mutter to yourself, moving swiftly towards your bedroom door. With much effort, you attempt to twist the doorknob but the wood won’t budge. “What the hell?”
Jensen mumbles for you to move so he can try it himself, he then starts screaming internally when he can’t pull it open either. His dumb ass co-star must have shoved a heavy chair under the doorknob causing them to be trapped inside.
“Ok, Padalecki. You’re hilarious, now unblock the door.” Jensen’s voice barely hides his panic as he glances over at you. He sees you scoff obnoxiously at no one in particular before ungracefully jumping onto your queen sized bed with a grunt.
“What hell are you doing?”
“Watching Netflix.” You grumble at the Ken doll who’s wearing a similar scowl. “You have a better idea? Jared’s stubborn. We aren’t getting out right now.”
“This is fucking ridiculous.” Jensen huffs plopping down onto a nearby metal desk chair. “At least put on something good, Y/N.”
“I am. The new season of Grace and Frankie. I need to catch up.” You answer scrolling through Netflix, missing the disgusted reaction from Jensen.
“Isn’t that about old people having sex and shit?!”
“Sometimes but there’s a lot more to it than that.” Your condescending tone doesn’t help the situation, causing the annoyed actor to spring up from his chair.
“Move over.” Jensen commands pointing to the right side of the bed.
“Excuse me.” You side eye him.
“That stupid chair sucks. If I have to be held prisoner then I at least want to be comfortable.”
You don’t react at first, weighing the pros and cons of this idea, “Fine but don’t talk to me.” You declare sternly, shuffling over to make room for him.
“I don’t want to talk to you.” Jensen garners an eye roll.
“Good.”
“Good!”
Jared grins widely as he eavesdrops from the other side of the bedroom door. This is going to be much easier than he thought. He’ll make you two like each other even if it kills him. Step one of his plan is now compete.

A/N: No disrespect to Jensen or his family. This is a work of fiction, please regard it as such.
I was so nervous. Sure, I was in my hometown, but I was way out of my element. This wasn’t just my favorite show, Jensen was my favorite person, like, ever. I looked up to him not only as an actor but as a person, an example of what a kind, compassionate human should be. I was mere minutes away from meeting him, having waited months for this moment and it was so close - too close. I couldn’t stop shaking.
As I approached the front of the line, my heart caught in my throat. There he was. Just a matter of feet from me and I was losing it, fast. I handed my ticket to the attendant, an older woman; she ripped it in half and handed it back to me, but I dropped it. I was shaking so hard, I couldn’t get my fingers to work.
“I’m s-so s-sorry,” I stuttered, bending over to retrieve my keepsake stub.
“Honey, it’s okay. Don’t be nervous; he is a nice handsome boy, but he is still just a person,” she said knowingly, running her hand up and down my arm in an effort to provide some comfort and settle my nerves.
“But he isn’t just a person,” I whispered as I turned and closed my eyes. I was next and was trembling.
“Okay, honey, it’s your turn; it’s going to be fine,” she said quietly as she gave me a gentle push forward.
Despite my nerves, I managed to make eye contact with Jensen and he smiled wide. It did little to settle my nerves, but he didn’t hesitate and wrapped his arms right around me. He must have felt my body shaking.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay,” he whispered, looking down at me. His arms held me tighter and we both looked at the camera just in time for Chris to snap the photo.
“Hey, Beautiful, what’s your name?” he asked.
“Y/N. It’s Y/N,” I told him, looking down at my hands and blurted out, “thank you, I love you.”
“Thank you, Y/N. It was nice to meet you,” he hugged me once more before the handlers rushed me out of the way and it was over. I was still shaking as I left the photo op room, but Jensen was amazing and somehow he knew just what I needed. I felt a smile creep up on me as I kept walking. I would be seeing him again shortly for my J2 op. I would have to remember to thank him.
I found myself back in line not too much later, waiting for my five seconds with Jensen and Jared. As I reached the front of the line once more, the same sweet woman was taking tickets.
“I wanted to say thank you, you know, for earlier.” I smiled and held out my hand to shake hers. She grabbed mine with both of hers and held them tightly.
“You don’t have to thank me. I told you he was a nice boy, both of them are. They were raised right and you got no reason to be nervous, honey,” she assured me. “You seem to be doing better this time around.”
“I am, thank you again.” I took the ticket stub back from her and slipped it into my back packet. I turned my attention to the next volunteer, waiting for her to tell me it was my turn and in less than a minute, she ushered me forward.
Jared and his excited puppy persona greeted me. “Hi, welcome! What would you like today?”
“I just want the sandwich hug if that is okay?” I asked, still a little timid, but much better than earlier.
“Hey, yeah! That’s what we do best!” he grabbed my hand and pulled me between them. I looked up and met Jensen’s eyes.
“Hey, Y/N! How are you doing, Honey? Better?” he smiled and look genuinely interested in my response.
“Thank you for before, Jensen. I was so nervous!” I laughed a little, trying to hide the new nervousness that was setting in.
“Oh you guys know each other?” Jared piped up from behind me, as he reached his arms around me from behind, walking forward and essentially pushing me straight into Jensen.
“Yeah, she was in my solo ops and was a little nervous, but she did great,” Jensen told Jared, but kept his eyes locked on mine. He wrapped me up in a tight hug, with Jared resting his hands on my shoulder. I felt safe and happy, there in the arms of two of the men I admired most in this world. But it was over too soon and the handler was bringing in the next person.
Jensen held my hand for a moment as I walked away, lingering just a bit longer. “It was nice meeting you, Y/N. Enjoy the rest of the convention.” He smiled and winked at me right before he turned to greet the next person in line. My heart was now beating faster for a whole new reason. I couldn’t believe Jensen remembered my name.
The entire weekend had passed in a blur of activity, meeting new people and taking in the whole experience, but it was the best weekend of my life. I returned home and immediately started planning my next Supernatural Convention adventure.
It wasn’t long before I decided I was going to VegasCon in February 2018. My tickets were purchased and my flight and hotel were booked. As I clicked the large green buy tickets button to get my solo photo op with Jensen, my heart started to pick up speed as I remembered how sweet he was to me in Seattle. With a smile on my face and hopes to thank him once more I clicked the button.
Vegas certainly didn’t disappoint, being the only four day con in the United States. I met so many new people, my head was swimming with names. But the day I had waited nearly a year for was a memory in the making.
There I stood in the photo line once more, waiting for Jensen’s solo ops. I had rehearsed in my head a million times what I really wanted to say and hoped I didn’t mess it up or spew any verbal vomit. I stepped forward every few seconds and I kept my eyes locked on Jensen the entire time. I even caught his eyes a couple times as he looked up at the line. He smiled, but he knew we were the reason the show was still on the air. He loved us as much as we loved him. One did not exist without the other, I thought. Then it was my turn.
“Hi, can I just get a hug?” I asked, my nerves completely in check this time.
“Of course you can get a hug, Y/N!” Jensen greeted me warmly and my face almost fell from shock.
“You remember me?” I asked in awe.
“I could never forget a gorgeous face with pretty red hair to boot,” he smiled. “How are you doing this go ‘round?”
“That was almost a year ago,” I whispered as he stepped forward, ready to wrap his arms around me.
“And I have been waiting not-so-patiently to see you come through my photo lines at every con since then,” he whispered in my ear as his long arms engulfed my small frame. He hugged me just as Chris snapped the photo. Jensen walked off the side, his arm still around me. ‘“Hold on a sec, don’t go yet.”
“Heya Clif!” Jensen shouted for his bodyguard and then I got nervous. I watched as he and Clif exchanged a few sentences. Jensen turned back to me and hugged me once more.
“Thank you Jensen,” I sighed, sad that the moment was over.
“No, Y/N/N, thank you so much,” he winked then turned back to the next person.
“Y/N, can I get you to grab your stuff and come with me for a moment?” Clif motioned to the table piled with bags, backpacks and purses. He must have noticed my hesitation. “It’s okay. There isn’t a problem, I promise.” He smiled and I allowed myself to relax a little as I grabbed my bag and followed him from the room. He led me through to a smaller room that they must use for staging or possibly the Meet and Greets.
“I have to ask for your full discretion before we go any further. Nothing that happens in this room can leave this room. The conversation you and I are having right now is private and is between you, Jensen and myself only. Do you understand what I am saying?” he looked serious.
“Yes,” was the only thing I could say as I tried to gather enough spit to swallow.
“I need your phone number, please,” Clif said as he pulled out his phone and I could see him typing in his notes. It was my name.
I rattled off my number like it was something I did everyday, giving my telephone number to celebrity bodyguards.
“You will be receiving a call from Jensen after the final signing this afternoon. It will come from a 512 area code; answer it. It will be Jensen,” Clif stated.
“What?” I was sure I didn’t hear that right.
“Jensen will be calling you later. Please answer your phone,” Clif repeated himself.
“Why?” I was perplexed to say the least.
“That is between you and Jensen, Miss,” he placed his hand to the small of my back and lead me through a blocked off hall that would take me back to the ballroom. “Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Y/N.”
I had no idea what to do with the information I just received. Did Clif really just tell me that Jensen would be calling me after the convention? That Jensen Ackles, star of Supernatural, was going to call me, a nobody from nowhere? I returned the ballroom and sat down in my seat, trying to process what just happened.
I managed to sit through the rest of the afternoon, including Jared and Jensen’s main panel. I knew their autos started soon after and as a gold pass holder, I was anxiously awaiting my turn to get his autograph. I listened intently for my row to be called as I casually scrolled through my phone. My heart started racing once more as soon as my row was called and I gracefully, but briskly, made my way to the line, my item to be signed in my hands.
I stepped forward with each person that surrounded me, slowly getting closer. I kept my eyes on the door to the room where they were holding the autograph signings and before I knew it, I could see him. He looked even more perfect than he had that afternoon. His smile lighting up as he greeted each person in line. The eye crinkles as he laughed at something one of the handlers said. His entire aura shining through the dimly lit space. I was still in awe of the events that had transpired earlier in the day and now I was going to see him again. When the handler to his right held out her hand, I passed her my item. She waited for Jensen to sign the couple of things in front of him, then slid it across the table.
“Hi, thanks for coming,” he signed his name, then looked up at me and smiled. “Y/N/N!”
“Hi Jensen. Thank you,” I was shocked that he seemed happy to see me. I was in shock from everything.
“I’ll be seeing you soon, Y/N/N,” he winked and handed me my signed item. “Real soon.”
I am sure my mouth was hanging open as I walked out of the room. Just as I turned the corner, Clif caught my attention.
“Hey, Y/N. It’s going to be at least an hour, maybe two. Jensen asked that I escort you back to your room and he promised he will call you later,” his voice was quiet, I wasn’t sure I heard him correctly.
“Um, okay…” I started toward the tower elevators to head back to my room, Clif on my heels. Luckily, there was no one else in the elevator, but I am sure there are other fans that watched me leave the convention area with Clif. What were they thinking? I don’t even know what I was thinking. The lift brought us to the correct floor and we stepped off, Clif following me as I headed back to my room.
“I need to remind you of our conversation from this morning,” Clif started, but I held up my hand.
“I remember and you have my word,” I assured him, still not knowing what was happening, not really.
“It’s just a precaution, Y/N. Have a nice night.” Clif left me as I entered my room, closing and securing the door behind me.
I was restless. I grabbed a bottle of water and paced the floor, not even bothering to open it. I held it in my hand, waving it back and forth as I talked to myself, like a crazy person.
I stopped pacing long enough to turn on the television, but it’s not like I could sit down and watch anything; I was too busy thinking about what had happened that morning, and again in the autograph line that evening.
Before I could get farther into the rabbit hole that was my mind, my phone rang. I stared at the screen when the numbers popped up; it was a 512 area code. Was Jensen Ackles really calling me right now? I swiped my finger over the green button.
“Hello?” I am sure I may have stuttered.
“Y/N/N? It’s Jensen Ackles; Clif told you I would be calling...” he hesitated too and I felt better.
“Hi Jensen,” I really didn’t know what else to say.
“Hi. Sorry, I am a little nervous,” he laughed. “I wanted to ask you if you would have a late dinner with me tonight.”
“What?” I asked.
“Dinner. Would you like to have dinner with me?” he repeated. I took a moment to compose myself before I answered.
“Yes, Jensen, I would. I would like that,” I breathed out.
“Great! So, a black SUV will pick you up outside the main door in twenty minutes. There will be a gentleman holding a sign with your name. I will be inside waiting for you, so you don’t have to worry,” he assured me.
“I’ll see you in twenty then,” I ended the call, then ran to my bag, trying to figure out what I was going to wear. I settled for what I considered boring, but at least he hadn’t seen me in it twice.
I double checked my reflection in the mirror, then quickly fluffed my hair and applied a new coat of powder, not that it was going to make a difference; I was already sweating. I was ready within fifteen minutes and grabbed my jacket as I headed out the door. The ride to the main floor took longer than I remembered and it felt like there were too many people on the casino floor. I dodged them by the dozens just trying to get to the front doors. I stepped out into the cool night air, taking a deep breath.
A tall gentleman in a black suit approached me with a sign that had my name on it. “Miss Y/N? I’m Philip and I will be your driver tonight. Please, follow me.” He led me to a large black SUV and held the back door open. When I looked up, the first thing I saw was Jensen’s face smiling at me. He held his hand out for me and smiled as I stepped inside, sliding into the seat next to him.

~
Hey Y/N. It’s Jensen Ackles. We need to talk.
“No fucking way." You gasp in shock at the abrupt text Jensen just sent you. Those nine words start taunting your ass, yet you can’t stop yourself from rereading them.
“What? Let me see!" Steph snatches your iPhone easily out of your shaking hand, an action that would normally be a much bigger feat.
"Oh my god!” Steph screeches snapping you out of your panic induced state. “Let's Facetime him!”
“No!” You aggressively dive for your phone, trying and failing to ignore the incessant pounding in your chest.
“You have to write back, Y/N. He’s your lover after all.” Steph pulls her knees up to her stomach, protectively wrapping her arms around them. She has a sneaking suspicion you’ll punch her in the gut for that comment.
“I literally hate you.” You whine dramatically swatting her with your pillow. “I need a minute. Go away.“
"Fine. I’m doing a Starbucks run. Don’t talk to him until I get back!” Steph bounces off of your bed with an extra spring in her step. At least one of you isn’t having heart palpitations.
You listen for the slamming of your front door, the sound instantly giving you a needed moment of peace. This is by far the strangest predicament you’ve ever gotten yourself into. What exactly is the fucking protocol for something this confusing?
You scold yourself to just text Jensen back now, you’re only delaying the shit storm that’s inevitable. Are you being a little theatrical? Probably. But this whole situation seems a bit too good to be true, which leads you to agonize over how to respond.
Something detailed or short and sweet? Casual or reserved? Emoji or no emoji?! Jesus Christ you really need to pop back like five Xanax. You finally settle on the bare minimum, mirroring the actor’s no nonsense message. Better safe than sorry.
Hi Jensen. Yeah that’s a good idea. When and where?
Your place in an hour?
Oh god. This is really happening. Shit.
“Sure. I’m in the Lenox Complex on Stuart street. Apartment 17A.
"I know. See you then, Y/N.”
He knows?! Oh bloody hell. Never again will a drop of alcohol slip past your god damn lips. Admittedly you’re a lightweight, so it doesn’t usually take much to go overboard. But still...even Tequila, you call it liquid evil, has never made your ass black out completely.
This morning is shaping up to be nothing short of a shitshow and your feet haven’t even touched the hardwood floor. With an exaggerated groan, you peel yourself off of your bed and quickly throw back three Advil with some gatorade.
You gingerly move about your apartment, surveying the area and your eyes go wide in the living room. Your Tigger shaped slippers are louging by the couch, close to an empty family size package of Oreos - both near your retainer that’s chilling on top of the coffee table.
Fuck. You force your hungover muscles to tidy up the place and pray Jensen was too drunk to notice any of your dorkiness. Then the front door bursts open and you race towards the bathroom, taking the intrusion as your cue to shower.
“I’m back, bitch! Let’s call Jensen.” Steph rushes after you into the next room, not caring that you’re literally scrambling to get away from her.
"Ackles is stopping by to talk in about 30 minutes." You rock nervously on the balls of your feet, just saying the words out loud is putting you into a tailspin.
Your best friend's eyes beam like a fucking Christmas tree and you grunt, "You need to make yourself scarce, Steph."
“That’s a funny one.”
"No I'm serious. I’m going into this completely blind. This whole ordeal is weird and stressful enough...I don't need you fangirling."
“I’m a grown adult.” She scoffs offended by you. “I don’t fangirl.”
“Go be a grown adult somewhere else please.” You deliver with an eye roll, trying to push past her but she doesn’t allow it. “Oh my god. Fine. You can meet him after we talk. Until then you hide in my bedroom.”
“But...”
You don’t bother waiting for Steph to finish her rambling, instead you shuffle right on into the bathroom with a sigh. You shower as fast as humanly possible, then half ass your hair and makeup while you fidget uncomfortably in your outfit.
You’re already starting to sweat in the ripped skinny jeans and black tank top you decided on. You let out a labored deep breath, knowing any sense of peace you had has flown out the friggin window.
You suddenly hear a muffled squeal and it causes your stomach to drop - that can only mean one thing. Jensen freaking Ackles showed up to your place earlier than expected. Holy hell.
Mustering up as much courage as you can in five seconds, you walk into the living room and that’s when you see him. Jensen is standing there in all of his gorgeous glory, albeit looking a little awkward but still...fucking gorgeous.
"Hi." You softly get out causing his head to snap in your direction. It makes you pause a beat, the spark of recognition in his eyes definitely surprising you.
"Hey, Y/N." Jensen delivers a somewhat tight smile, his hazel eyes flick over to your best friend then land again on you.
"Nice to mee...I mean...Hey..." You trail off painfully, the pit in your stomach has now quadrupled in fucking record time.
“I’m gonna let you crazy kids do your thing.” Steph jumps in breaking the tension, she makes sure to shoot you an exaggerated wink before sauntering away. Oh lord.
"Do you want a drink?" You ask Jensen, gesturing for him to take a seat and make himself more comfortable.
“Nah I’m good.” He immediately plops down onto the couch, watching closely as you choose to sit on the nearby lazy boy.
The actor stares intently at you, his strong gaze and the accompanying silence makes you shift nervously, “So I was pretty shocked to learn that we're dating." You blurt out with a chuckle.
Jensen’s face twists in confusion before he narrows his eyes, “Are you really playing that angle, Y/N?"
"Angle?” You barely squeak as your mouth turns instantly dry. “I...um...”
"I didn't tell anyone anything.” Jensen deadpans. “And then I wake up to having a new girlfriend.”
"Wait...y-you think I told the paper all of that?" You stutter feeling a sudden tightness in your chest.
“They reported your full name...so yeah there's a strong possibility.” Jensen drags a hand through his hair then shakes his head in frustration.
“But I’m a huge lightweight!” You exclaim louder intended. “I had so much Tequila I don’t remember a thing. I swear!”
Taken aback by your answer, Jensen’s eyebrows raise suspiciously, “We didn’t have any Tequila last night, Y/N.”
“What? How is that...oh my god.” The blood drains from your face. “Did someone...was I roofied?”
Jensen’s mouth drops down, “Roofied?” He struggles to stay composed, soon losing the battle of keeping a straight face.
“Why is that funny?” You spring off of your chair and start mindlessly pacing around the room.
“You really have no clue what happened last night do you?” Jensen groans dragging a tired hand down his face. You can feel his eyes following your movements and it’s really fucking unnerving.
“Obviously not, Ackles.” You huff crossing your arms over your chest. “You gonna tell me or just keep gawking at me, dude?”
“Oh Jesus Christ, Y/N.” Jensen mumbles in amusement. “Sit down. I guess I need to fill you in.”

“Is it time yet?!” Jensen barges into your shared bedroom, for the third time in the last hour. The boy is getting on your last damn nerve.
“You’re literally worse than a little kid, Ackles.” You huff at him, chucking a nearby sneaker at his tall frame. “We will exchange presents when I’m ready.”
“I start my stint on Dark Angel next week. Will it happen before then, Y/N?” Jensen sasses you. “Or should I just plan for next year?”
You narrow your eyes at your impatient boyfriend, not missing how he flinches under your hardened gaze. Luckily Jensen’s an expert when it comes to reading you. He’s been in love with you since middle school after all.
“Do you want anything to eat, sweetheart?” Jensen wisely changes tactics. “I can order a pizza.”
“Yes! Please and thank you.” You grin at him patting your hungry stomach.
For the first time since you both moved to LA, there’s a steady income flowing from each side. Jensen’s talent keeps landing him acting gigs and you’re kicking ass at your new job as a paralegal.
So you think it’s time Jensen gets the one present that he always wished for growing up. And unbeknownst to you, your boyfriend has the same train of thought when it comes to your own gift.
The call you’ve been waiting for finally arrives, Jensen’s present is on it’s way and you couldn’t be more excited. It was too big to fit into your Honda Accord, so you decided to just get it delivered.
“Where are you going?” Jensen glances up from his laptop, watching from the couch as you hurry by him.
“The garage.”
“No!” Jensen springs up from his seat in a panic. “That’s where your present is, Y/N.”
“I didn’t see anything there last night.” You squint your eyes at his oddly high tone of voice.
“I picked it up this morning when you were sleeping late.”
“Oh. Well your gift will be here soon, Jay. I planned on putting it right into the garage, so you can’t peek until it’s ready.”
“I’ll stay here until you give me the ok. Just don’t go in there.” Your boyfriend pleads with anxious eyes.
Jensen is so adorably flustered that you can’t help but nod your head in agreement. You warn him to stay put before flying out the front door, just in time to accept your delivery. You quickly snatch a large red bow from your car’s trunk and fasten it onto the present.
“Come here, handsome!” You shout from the bottom of the stairs, now nervously pacing in the foyer.
“It’s about time, woman.” Jensen chuckles making you scoff in amusement. He’s so lucky he’s gorgeous.
You let him burst through the door and he finally sees it.
“Holy shit!” Jensen’s deep voice rises. “You got me a fucking dirt bike?!”
The pure joy etched on your boyfriend’s face is the exact reason why you chose this gift. He begged and pleaded his parents when you two were young but they refused to get him one. They are gonna be so pissed at you.
“Thank so much, baby! You’re the best.” Jensen captures your lips in a bruising kiss, not bothering to let you respond as he tightens his grip on you.
“I can’t breathe.” You giggle pushing at his chest, he stumbles back with the biggest grin you’ve ever seen.
“My mom’s gonna be so mad at you.” Jensen snickers as he runs his hand over the black handlebars, he’s almost in awe that it’s truly his.
“I can handle your mom. Just don’t hurt yourself, honey.”
“No worries, beautiful.” He throws a wink your way then breathlessly leads you back inside the house.
“Ok it’s your turn. I’ll be right back.”
You squeal like a god damn teenager and start pacing the living room floor, you just love surprises! You’re about to invade the garage when you hear Jensen’s heavy footsteps coming your way.
Jensen turns the corner with a huge smile and your jaw just drops, “Oh. My. God.” He’s holding up the cutest Bernese Mountain Dog puppy as he moves towards you.
You launch yourself towards him, wrapping your arms around him and the puppy, “I love you so much.”
“I love you too, Y/N.” Jensen whispers into your ear.
“I finally get a dog.” You happily sigh with tears in your eyes.
“Hell yeah, you do.”
“I can’t believe it.” You chuckle softly, cradling the pup as he licks your face.
Unfortunately your mom is allergic to dogs, so needless to say you longed for one your entire childhood. Back then Jensen always assured you that you’d get one someday. And the lovable bastard was right.
“Thank you so much, Jay.”
Jensen hums and sweetly kisses your forehead, “Merry Christmas, baby.”

"Come on, Ackles. Stop being a slow poke!" You scold your best friend, he's deliberately taking his sweet ass time while you both walk through a neighborhood in Austin.
"I'm enjoying the scenery." Jensen counters with long strides down the sidewalk.
The truth is that Jensen's actually referring to you, you've always been absolute perfection in his eyes. And that's why he keeps drooling nonstop over how gorgeous you look in your costume.
Your dangerously short sailor dress continues to ride up with every bounce in your step. And the shake of your ass when your heels hit the pavement is driving him fucking mad. He wants nothing more than to ravage you, satisfy you and then claim you as his.
"Old man." You grumble under your breath, slowly twirling until he's in your sights. Grabbing ahold of his muscled bicep, you ignore his macho whining and force him to march faster.
"You're literally a little kid, Y/N. It's just a Halloween party." Jensen chuckles at you, he secretly enjoys the manhandling because it simply means you're touching him.
"Everyone is home right now and we can finally have fun together!" You exclaim with a squeal. "You're all gallivanting around the world while I'm stuck here like a normal person."
"Oh, honey. Normal is a stretch." Jensen teases gaining a swat to the back of his head. "If you let me finish! You're a very successful lawyer in Austin!" He adds making you roll your eyes.
A wide smile spreads across your face when you see that Jared and Gen's house is now near. It's definitely not hard to miss, their insane Halloween decorations are the best on the block.
Once you're both inside the party and settled with some drinks, someone strangely familiar catches your eye, "Oh my god."
You turn into Jensen's chest, missing the way his breath hitches because of the close contact. "That's JJ right?" You whisper. "From Kaleo?"
"Yeah it is. He must be on a break from touring."
"Introduce me!" Your face lights up with joy, the act causing Jensen's stomach to twist into knots. This will definitely not bode well for him.
With a reluctant nod, Jensen places his hand on the small of your back and leads you right to the singer, "Hey, man."
"Look who it is!" JJ slaps your best friend's back before they start hugging it out, he finally takes notice of you once they break apart.
"This is my best friend Y/N." Jensen quickly introduces you , he immediately becomes aggravated with the way JJ's eyes are roaming your body.
"Well hello there, sailor." The singer smirks at you with a hint of mischief in his voice.
"Hi." You giggle at his forwardness, feeling a blush creep onto your cheeks from his greeting.
Without realizing it, you and JJ exclude Jensen from the conversation as if he's no longer there. Of course Jensen's more than aware, his strained smile and clenched fists going unnoticed.
"A sailor who wears a leather jacket, JJ?" He speaks up with more snark than intended.
"I'm working with what I got, Jay." He chuckles unaffected. "I didn't plan on being in town for Halloween."
"I like it." You cut in with a wink, instantly drawing opposite reactions from the two men.
"It seems like it was the right choice." JJ locks eyes with you. "You look amazing, Y/N."
"Thanks. You too, sailor."
Jensen's about to lie through his teeth so he can drag you away but Gen interrupts him. She needs your help with something in the kitchen, thankfully getting you away from the rockstar.
"Dude. Y/N is unreal." JJ stresses with a groan watching you saunter away. "I can't believe a girl like that is single."
"Yeah...wait what?"
"I don't see a date. She's obviously flying solo. So I'm gonna offer."
"Offer?"
"Hell yeah. I'll gladly be her date." JJ licks his lips in a suggestive way that makes Jensen see red.
"Listen, man...I stayed quiet when you flirted with Y/N but that's as far as it will go. You're not moving in on her."
Realization dawns on JJ making him laugh, "I should've seen it before, dude. You've got it bad for the girl."
"Keep your voice down." Jensen growls out, tensing up as he scans the room for you.
"I guess it isn't shared knowledge, huh."
"I'm too much of a pussy." Jensen sighs. "Y/N doesn't know I have feelings for her."
JJ grins wickedly when he sees you standing behind Jensen, "She does now."
Jensen's ears turn pink as his heart begins racing, he then spins around to face you, "I um...I guess we have a lot to talk about."

“Y/N L/N! Get your ass up!”
A high pitched shrill invades your dream world as incessant curse words begin littering the air. A blinding light appears and it makes you bury your head deep under the warm covers. The muffled growling noises you hear become much clearer once your sheets are abruptly yanked off.
“Y/N!” Your best friend huffs. “Don’t make me chuck water onto your head!”
“What the fuck, Steph.” You moan lowly, snatching your pillow away when she tries to steal it from you. “You psychopath."
"I’m so mad at you right now. How come you didn’t tell me, woman?!” The bratty behavior continues as she stomps her high heeled boot into your hardwood floor.
“Don’t scuff my floor, dude."
"Oh my god. Focus, Y/N. You need to tell me everything.” Steph collapses down onto your queen size bed and maneuvers into an indian style position.
“Come again?”
She stares intently with a pout, “I swear…I know I’ve been working extra shifts at the hospital lately but seriously? Start talking.”
“I need more information.” You warily tell your best friend, her eyes squint and she looks dangerously close to pouncing on you.
“The pictures are everywhere, Y/N. The jig is up.”
“Pictures? I am too hungover for this guessing game.” You fight back a big yawn.
Steph grumbles obscenities and then shoves her iPhone into your annoyed face. You sit back and try to readjust your eyes, the bright screen hurting your overly sensitive head. Did you mention that you’re hungover?
“Well!” She exclaims as your face morphs into pure shock.
Jensen Ackles and his new girlfriend Y/N L/N made their first high profile appearance last night in Vancouver. The couple did not shy away from public displays of affection, the constant kissing and touching never easing up. Did the pair….
“What the fuck?!” You feel like you were just punched hard in the gut, doubling over as nausea quickly hits you.
“You’re dating Jensen freaking Ackles! Why didn’t you tell me?!”
“I didn’t know!” You squeak out, an intense heat now flushing your entire body.
“I’m sorry. What…” Steph raises her eyebrows, appearing concerned for the first time since she barged into your bedroom.
“I didn’t…”
“There are pictures, Y/N.” She scrolls down and shows you. “See? You two are holding hands in one picture. You’re sitting on his lap in another. And making out with him in the last one.”
“Is this a really bad, elaborate joke? Cause I’ll literally kill you.”
Steph rolls her eyes then googles Jensen’s name, it reveals tons of similar headlines mentioning his new girlfriend aka you. What in the bloody hell? You don’t remember any of this. Of all the things to fucking forget.
Deciding to check your own phone, you switch it on and a somewhat strangled yelp leaves your lips. It’s flooded with calls and texts from almost everyone that you know and your social media accounts have completely blown up.
“Holy shit. This doesn’t make sense. And how did they get my name?” Wanting to disappear, you fall back against your headboard and cover your panicked face with your hands.
"Wait. You literally have no idea about this? You must have hit the hard stuff.” It slowly dawns on Steph that you’re just as clueless as she is over recent events.
“Ya think, dumb ass.” You snap back. “I’ve never even met the man.”
“Well that’s not true.” She giggles with a smirk. “Let’s hope you’re sober enough for the wedding.”
“You’re hilarious.” You deadpan. “I really…”
Your phone starts buzzing and it distracts your train of thought, you hesitate then reluctantly glance at the flashing screen. A new text pops up from an unknown number and a pit automatically develops in your weak stomach.
Pausing for a second with your eyes pressed shut, you finally open the text and what you read makes your heart practically burst.

Sauntering down Tremont Street in downtown Boston, your only focus is the click clacking of your high heels hitting the pavement. You’re barely aware of the lingering eyes as they fixate on your sexy inmate costume.
The hardcore pregaming at your best friend’s place majorly attributes to your aloofness. It’s also the reason why you’re venturing out late to acquire more booze on Halloween night.
Gallivanting around by yourself is admittedly not the best idea, especially with the alcohol coursing through your bloodstream. Meh. If it comes down to it, you can always resort to stabbing someone with your pretty five inch heels.
Once you enter the liquor store, you’re immediately drawn to a tall man who's looking beyond delicious in a cop costume. He’s perusing the snack section, completely oblivious about the effect he has on you already.
The liquid courage in your system lets you stroll over to him without a second thought, “Well hello there.” Your eyes flick down to his shiny gold name tag. “Officer Ackles.”
“Wow.” He breathes out as his hazel eyes drink you in. “Hello yourself.”
“Nice costume. It looks very authentic.” You lean in closer to him. “Your handcuffs definitely look more fun than mine.”
“Well everything is real so…” Jensen trails off, expecting your flirty demeanor towards him to falter out. Although it doesn’t, his answer makes you seductively bite your bottom lip instead.
“Even better.” You wink causing his heart to speed up.
“What’s your name, inmate?” He gruffly demands, even though there’s no hint of threat behind it.
“Y/N.” You answer cheerfully and it makes him chuckle. “You?”
“Jensen.” He gestures at the orange fabric clinging to your body. “So you got pinched huh? What for?”
“Indecent exposure.” You innocently reveal through your long fake lashes.
“Shit.” Jensen whispers as he purposely breaks eye contact with you. He starts begging his overstimulated mind to get its shit together. He’s still on the job after all.
“How did you get here, miss? I hope you didn’t drive.” He inquires because of the obvious state that you’re in.
“I walked. My friend’s apartment is just down the street.”
“By yourself?”
“Yes, sir.” You roll your eyes. “She was taking too long to get ready so I just left without her.”
“Ah. I’m guessing you guys are having a Halloween party?” He smirks at you.
“Going to one actually. Wanna come? It’ll be a good time.” You inch closer to him, now able to breathe in his intoxicating smell.
“I…well…” Jensen clears his throat. “I don’t get off until midnight.”
“I bet we could make it happen much sooner than that, officer.” You giggle softly, enjoying the impact that your words are having on him.
“Fuck, woman. You’re killing me.” Jensen’s eyes automatically widen, he truly can’t believe what just fell out of his mouth.
“Well we can’t have that.” You tease him, now continuing on towards the vodka aisle.
Jensen watches in amazement, hypnotized by the swing in your hips and the curves of your ass. Luckily he snaps out of his trance, just in time to see that you’re now at the register. Not wanting to say goodbye just yet, he races in the direction of the exit and then anxiously waits outside for you.
You soon emerge from the liquor store with two bottles of Absolut Vodka and you’re met with a charming smile. Cocking your head, you silently wonder why the handsome police officer is still standing there.
“I should probably walk back with you, Y/N. Better safe than sorry.”
“You don’t ha…”
“I insist.”
You can’t help but laugh, “Well then let’s go, Ackles.”
You and Jensen both move slow, deliberately wanting to make this time together last. The fresh cool air has cleared your head a bit, you’re by no means sober but at least you’re functioning better. The walk is filled with jokes and laughter, there’s definitely a chemistry here beyond physical attraction.
Jensen tries to hide his disappoint when it’s time to part ways, you weren’t kidding about your friend living close by and now he doesn’t want to leave. Drunk or not, you both really hit it off and he wants nothing more than to learn everything he can about you.
“So the party’s actually inside.” You mention casually, glancing up at your friend’s building. “Another friend who lives here is throwing it.”
“I can swing by after work.” Jensen rushes out adorably. “I mean…if that’s cool.”
“Definitely.” Your entire face lights up making his do the same, everything about you is just infectious.
You willingly hand over your phone number and he promises to call when he can, surprisingly you both act a little shy during the interaction. After a sweet peck on his warm cheek, you then climb the apartment steps and unlock the front door.
“See you soon, officer.” You grin slyly before slipping inside, then break out into a happy dance once you’re out of sight.
“Yes you will, inmate.” Jensen chuckles to himself.

"Let me get this straight." Jensen locks his rigid stance, "You expect me to walk around with freaking green hair, stupid makeup and fake ass tattoos."
"Yup." A devious smile breaks out on Jared's face, his stride still carrying him down the apartment hallway. "Piece of cake."
Ugh. Jensen encountered Briana sulking on set a few days ago, her husband had to cancel a much anticipated visit due to a work obligation. So then she begged and pleaded for Jensen to fill in for her husband on Halloween.
And that's how this awkwardness came to be, why Jensen is traipsing around wearing a dorky Joker costume in public. And it's not even the bad ass Heath Ledger version that he likes the best. It's safe to say that he's not a happy camper. All because Briana wants to be friggin Harley Quinn for the night.
"This wasn't part of the deal." Jensen grits his teeth, his stomp echoing after his best friend. "Are you kidding me, Padalecki?!"
Jared halts for a split second then continues on his way, "You're doing it for Bri. Now let's go."
"I only agreed to this because it was supposed to be a small get together at her place. Y'all left out that she's having a huge party!"
"Oh my lord." Jared pauses near their co-star's front door, he mindlessly adjusts his Thor costume and waits impatiently for the whiny Joker.
"At least let me go change into another costume. I can be a cowboy." Jensen's hopeful gaze is wiped away when he hears an obnoxious burst of laughter.
"You dressed like a cowboy your entire childhood, dude. And a few times as an adult. Branch out a little." Jared slaps his back harder than usual then ventures into the bustling party.
"But I don't wanna." Jensen grumbles with a purse of his lips, reluctantly moping into the apartment as well.
The loud thumping bass from Thriller hits Jensen's ears once he's inside, his sight catching the array of random costumes scattered around. Realizing that this is supposed to be a fun experience, he finally decides to just enjoy himself.
Scanning the area for Briana, his jaw instantly tightens when he finds her in the kitchen, "Are you kidding me, woman?!" He huffs making her jump.
"Jay! Wow you look amazing." Briana delivers with a gasp, now examining his impressive costume with a wide smile.
"What the hell..." Jensen wills himself to calm down. "Wanna tell me why you're dressed like a cowgirl instead of Harley Quinn?" He snaps with a pained expression.
"Oh! Yes I figured Y/N could pull it off much better than I ever could." Bri smirks gesturing in your direction. "Doesn't she look insanely awesome?"
"Who?" Jensen stares across the open floor plan allowing a perfect view of you. Damn you're hot. He has absolutely no idea who you are but he has an immediate need to find out.
"My sister in law. I tricked her too but the poor girl doesn't know it yet. Come on." Briana yanks Jensen's arm, not allowing him to get a word in before he's dragged towards you.
"Y/N! I found your Joker." Briana winks at you.
Your eyes land on the tall brooding figure in front of you, there's something familiar and inviting about the man but you're clueless as to why.
Either way, you know for certain that this isn't your friend Tom, who convinced you to dress up in this ridiculous ensemble. What the hell are they up to?
"Um hi?"
"You two look amazing!" She squeals and pushes Jensen next to you then snaps an unwanted photo with her iPhone.
"I'm so confused." You manage to speak up, not missing how the Joker is unabashedly checking you out. He bites his lip after reading ‘Daddy’s Lil Monster’ on your shirt.
"We tricked you guys. Obviously." Briana chuckles. "You're both stubborn as fuck about being setup and this seemed like a good solution. So enjoy!"
"Wait what..." Before you can latch onto her, the beyond chipper cowgirl speeds up and leaves you both in the dust.
"Wow." Jensen clears his throat, his eyes searching for some close by alcohol that he can knock back in a rush.
"So what's your name?" You ask softly, grasping your baseball bat with your sweaty palms.
"Jay. What's yours?" He wonders leaning closer, trying to hear you over the thumping beats that have yet to ease up.
"Y/N." You laugh out, now getting a good look at his made up appearance. You're now eager to see what the boy looks like without all of his silly makeup.
"Those fuckers. I swear." Jensen eyes Briana, Jared and a few others across the room. They're all huddled together, watching you both with similar amused faces.
"They're not even trying to hide it." You playfully scoff at him, gaining a devilish grin.
"Fuck it. This isn't a zoo. They don't get to gawk at us like we're animals." Jensen sends you a crooked smile, grabs onto your hand and guides you throughout the apartment.
"Where are we going?"
"Wanna go for a walk? I'd like to get to know you better without an audience." Jensen adorably whispers into your ear.
“Definitely.” You agree without hesitation, letting him lead the way out of the crowded space.
You both stroll past a large mirror hanging near the building’s elevator and Jensen freezes at the reflection, he turns to you with a charming smile, “ We look pretty good together ya know.” He adds making you blush.
"Hell yeah we do.” You giggle moving closer to him.
