Taylor has become very square since I initially designed them so I had to update their skeleton form to accommodate.

#rpg tomfoolery #Taylor the Friend of Darkness #ganymede art tag #I think one of my favorite things about character design is that when you start with the rough concept #and then slap visuals on it #the concept refines and evolves over time #like I can say that Taylor's stocky build and heavy eyebrows developed as I kept drawing them #just because it felt natural #but I also think some of this is a reflection of their stubborn and detail-oriented personality #earliest designs of them were more waifish- when I was thinking of them more as 'a lost child'#which is still true and that softness and vulnerability is still in there #but it now is tempered by other factors
