crime-ridden streets. danger around every corner. discarded and forgotten. this is the isle of the lost.
the island is a prison -- created by the rulers of auradon only to be forgotten about. out of sight, out of mind. it has been stripped of all essence of magic, save for the dome-like barrier that keeps all its residents from freedom. the island is crowded and cramped, having to build on upwards as their population grew larger. there are more alleyways that streets anymore. the entire city is in disrepair. cobblestone streets lack cobblestones, buildings are falling apart, there is no wall left without graffiti. anyone will describe it as a dark and dismal place.
since the defeat of maleficent, whatever semblance of society the island once held has fallen into chaos. multiple new gangs have emerged, fighting each other in the streets -- each struggling to keep their own turf; each struggling to take control of the island. fear is the greatest commodity.
propaganda posters of king ben and his “original villain kids” had been placed around the island to inspire the younger generation to “choose good”. many of these posters have been taken down or defaced. the disgust with the royal family and the residents of auradon have only grown among the residents of the isle.
isle of the lost. isle of the forgotten. isle of the damned.
