Raph's birthday is today!! Have this random photo that he took at some point, and is apparently saved on all his siblings' phones (Nardo sent it to Casey at some point too)

Ok rambling about the designs and such for the RPWaSoBT turtles because yes

The markings on their arms and legs are actually somewhat based on the markings of their rottmnt counterparts, mostly for Nardo and Don though. And then the face markings are just kinda,, versions of those.

A lot of aspects of their personalities are based on me, my brother, and two of my cousins (yes I know I've said this a lot just. yeah). I chose each turtle to be based off of each of us from what me and one of my cousins have talked about; how I'm like Leo in most versions, how she's like Mikey (especially Rise), how my brother's similar to certain aspects of Donnie's personality and whatnot, and how my other cousin is like Raph in a lot of ways. Then I kind of just went all willy-nilly and changed a ton of stuff from how the original turtles are, to fit our personalities and interests better. There are some things that somewhat stay the same throughout rpwasobt and other iterations, like how Mikey enjoys cooking and baking, and then there are some things that are quite the opposite, like how Nardo's the only one who draws (unlike 2012 Leo because it's been said before in the fandom that he just can't draw akhskha).

One of my favourite things about their designs, which maybe it's kind of stupid, is the length of the mask tails. It's pretty much just the lengths of our hair. And eye colour, height, and age is all based off of us as well.

WHAT R UR TURTLES FAV MARVEL CHARACTER??

The fact that I haven't shared any info on Marvel actually existing in their universe. This made me so happy fr.

Nardo: The only real Marvel fan of the turtles. He likes a lot of the characters so so much, but his favourite is probably Thor. Mikey: Has seen most of the movies and some of the shows, but only because Nardo practically dragged him into the living room to binge some with him. He really likes Yelena though Don: Has seen all of the movies and shows, and likes the franchise a lot, but doesn't really show it like Nardo does. His favourite is definitely Captain America. Raph: Has barely seen any of the movies or anything, and honestly doesn't really care for Marvel at all. Though he would say that his favourite is Iron Man, just to bug Don a little

Hi! So I just scrolled through your tag for rpwasobt and I wanted to say that I think it's really cool! I love your designs snd I think that the turtles being from Vancouver instead of New York is a really cool twist!

Also, I wanted to ask: What are your turtles favourite movies?

AAAA TY!! I've actually thought about this one before so it'll be pretty easy to answer-

Nardo: He loves Disney and Dreamworks movies. Three that I can think of right now that he likes are The Emperor's New Groove, Turbo, and Robin Hood (the animated one like with the animals) Mikey: Honestly just the High School Musical movies. His favourite is the second one (which is actually Nardo's least favourite) Don: Probably just anything MCU. The first Iron Man and Captain America: The Winter Soldier I'd say are his favourites Raph: A lot of the time when they're all watching a movie together, he will keep rewinding a scene he thinks is really funny (somehow his siblings always forget to make sure he doesn't have the remote-) or he'll just always quote them. Movies he does that with are The War with Grandpa and Napoleon Dynamite. But he also likes Mighty Ducks because, y'know, hockey.

Also yes, Vancouver! I wanted to make them Canadian because I just think that'd make it kinda funny when they meet other iterations. Also because I live near Vancouver and have been there quite a few times, so it would be easier for me to write stuff for them that way. Plus I feel like Vancouver's kinda like New York, so it works like that too I guess
