I feel like it's important that you know, I just went back and read all of what exists in your TWR Arch 2v4 google doc, and geez... I'm having the actual hardest time putting my mind back into my homework because all I want to do is read more of your writing, and figure out how I can make my own writing as good/fun to read as yours. (PS- the fact that it's final exam week in college for me this upcoming week is a real tragedy. I want to read more! *pouts*)

Oooh, love that you have plans for Natalia! I'm excited to see what you've got planned for us! How's your writing going, if you don't mind my asking? I’m excited about my Natalia plans as well.  :)  I’m very much looking forward to exploring them.

My writing is going very well, broadly speaking!  I’ve been experimenting for a few months with a new daily routine that leaves me a little hang time I can use for writing.  It’s not a lot, and more often than not I don’t get a lot written.  But I usually get a paragraph or two, and since I started it I’ve written about 40K words.  They’ve mostly been on a new project that’s largely exploratory writing, so I haven’t shared any of it because I’m not sure yet where it’s going, but just having the habit means a lot.  My most successful writing periods in my life have been when I had a little hang time to dedicate to writing, so I expect if I can maintain it (I’m moving again in a few months, so we’ll see what my daily routine looks like after that), it’ll mean good things for ALL my projects.

Messages like this are a very big help in terms of motivation, so thank you so much for sending it!

I just got caught up on TWR! I'm not sure if I just missed this, but I wanted to clarify, is Brayden still the "Shade" equivalent in TWR, or is it Natalia this time around? And if it's still Brayden, do you have new plans for Natalia? Really love your writing!! <3

Brayden has not yet been revealed, but he has been foreshadowed in Arc 1:

“I know you, Lije Qaenschild,” [Harbinger] says, as though I hadn’t spoken.  “I knew your mother.  I know your father.”

I’m not exactly a grammarian, but the verb tenses in those sentences don’t escape me.  

He’s got roughly the same sort of set up as before, with Harbinger filling the role of the Shade / Dark Link in their relationship - though Harbinger’s role is much more significant than the shade’s was.  Harbinger is a recurring character across the Cycles.

For Natalia, I DO have plans!  And I’m actually going to play the No Spoilers! card on them, as they are net new to the character and the universe and are not a port of anything in RR!  Also, they’re long term plans.  I’ll likely do some foreshadowing in TWR, but the really big payoff will be in a different story.

These are just some of the things I noticed today, when I binge-read Arcs 1 and 2 of TW, and then started rereading RR again. We love you Rose!

I don’t have good words for how much this meant to read, but it meant a lot and it came at a really good time.  Thank you so, so much!
