i like that tenma sold atom to the circus of all things. he was NOT specialized for that. would he not have been able to get more money selling him to, like, a weapons dealer?

astro boy if there was a legal battle revolving around giving him some sort of feature to internally connect to cell/internet without having to visibly do anything and somebody said "he would text in class instead of paying attention and his teacher would be none the wiser":

50s atom: "im well-behaved!! i wouldnt do that!!"

80s atom: "im well-behaved!! i wouldnt do that!!" (lying)

2003 atom: "aww gee... you have a point... i shouldnt have that kind of advantage over my peers!"

2009 astro: doesnt he like. already text in class in the movie. in plain sight

pluto atom: "Do you think I'm not capable of texting and paying attention to class? 👁_👁"

so. atoms ass guns fire real bullets. does he have to replenish those? does he have to purchase machine gun clips and load them into his abdomen

one thing that gets me about astro boy is like ... we know atom has 100000 horsepower. but where? in what? hes got several different mechanisms for different body parts, i imagine. arms and legs on separate engines, right? or maybe not. but certainly a different mechanism for the jets/rockets yeah? are they also 100000 horsepower? is there part of him less powerful than another part? where are astro boys weak spots? i need to know astro boys weak spots.

if atom had a spcial media acct you know he would like. post once every two months. usually just pictures w no captions. sometimes just like nice messages. an essay every once in a while. he would get into the elmo asking how everybody was doing situation. this would happen to him. also his handle would just be @/astroboy. idc if hes primarily posting for a japanese audience, i feel it in my soul, that would be his handle...

one of my favorite things abt pluto is how many hyperrealistic androids there are who are not conventionally attractive. every piece of media where there are human-passing androids, theyre all, like, 20 year old supermodels yknow? because the question is, why would they deliberately design an android NOT to be hot? how do they make those choices? we know why atom's a kid, and that pretty much explains why uran's a kid too, but like. why does gesicht look to be balding? why does brando have a unibrow? somebody said "hey lets make them look like your average human, have little variations like that" in the design process and i love that idea. cuz like, its not like theyre trying to mass produce and sell them, those are unique, unowned robots. why not mix it up a little?
