[Prologue] Nice Neighborhood
Warm light breaks and basks the city in a gold hue while noises clash and echo. Surrounding strangers pass hurriedly on their commute to work while children rush by on their way to school. This is nothing you wouldn’t expect from a normal inner city setting.
But you’re late!
Your heart palpitates with excitement as you force yourself through the city crowds. Today is your first day, after all! Before making your way to the school, your new classmates wanted to meet up at a local park. Isn’t that nice!? But something feels off... You can’t put your finger on it but there’s definitely something different about today.
Perhaps it’s a feeble task, but you really want to leave a great impression on your new classmates. So instead of taking your time, you soar through the crowds. Wind in your hair, sweat pooling and breaking over your brow. It’s like nothing can stop the new ‘Super High School Level’ you.
Once you finally meet your fated destination everything becomes hazy... It’s weird... Wasn’t it just... morning?
Black.
Time passes, but of course no one was counting just how much. You wake up in a strange room but it seems like all your belongings are there. Each second feels like an eternity. Why are you here? How did you get here? Weren’t you just outside?
You could question everything over and over. But you’ll hardly find any answers staring at a blank wall. Instead you pat yourself down. If you had your phone you could at least contact someone for help.
Ah, There it is. The signal is off but there’s a message on the screen.
“Good morning! Ufufufu! Leave your room and meet downstairs.”
Down... stairs...? That’s weird... But if you want answers you might as well follow the commands.
From the hallway you make your way towards the end of the hall. Beyond that point is an opening, florescent lights beam from above pointing you in the right direction.
Stairs. These must be the ones your text message was talking about. You stride down the stairs carefully, but the sound of other people can be heard from behind. Even in the back of your mind, you worry about what could possibly be happening.
At the bottom of the steps, a two toned rabbit greets you.
“Gewd Morning Evweybody!” She shouts. “I’m your wonderful teacher, Monomi! Ufufu!”
... Teacher?
“Now this might be a shock to you, having a bunny wabbit like me as your teacher, but i assure you I am qwualified for the job!!”
Though it seems like a huge joke, you get the feeling this is some sort of sad reality that you’ve gotten yourself into.
“Since I’m certain you haven’t all met before... I think you should awl introduce yourselves! Hehe~ Maybe even expwore!”
And with that, she wandered off to the side sitting behind the hotel desk.
