my wife and i have come up with a new story setting and that means a new cast of ocs and this time it’s about gladiator slash pro wrestling style power armor mech fights, and trying to do what you love when everything is quantified and monetized, and going absolutely balls to the walls apeshit over your hobbies

delicor “delly” von braix is a high-energy, always-enthusiastic mech fight commentator and sports journalist; jackson, stage name cherry girl, is a rookie mech fighter. they’re definitely gonna fall in love, but not til jackson fights his way through a good old tournament arc, delly learns some fucking work-life balance, and delly’s asshole boyfriend (two time world champ and mech fighting celebrity julio julio, who has gotten to the point where he cares more about making good tv and getting sponsorships than having good clean fights) gets spectacularly dumped

Hmm, interesting. Not even Ezra’s most powerful uncontrolled Force usage was accompanied by a RRRUMBLE like Kanan’s. There’s a whoosh, but that’s it. [pic 1]

Later on, Ezra’s most powerful controlled Force usage was accompanied by a melodic humming sound, instead of a RRRUMBLE. [pic 2]

Compare this with, perhaps the series’ most gentle Force usage by Kanan. You can still hear the RRRUMBLE sound there. Not as loud as in “Rise of the Old Masters”, but it’s clearly there, and not just a wisp of it. It’s still there until the loth-cat was subdued.

Only during the Ultimate Lightsaber Battle do we hear a very short RRUMB... uh, not even long enough to get classified as a RRRUMBLE xD.
