Now that her dad was starting to get older, and Georgia herself was coming of age, he was starting to train her to eventually take over the pet shop for when he retired. When it came to animal care, she was already a pro... but when it came to the business side of things? Not so much.
So when the time came to deliver some animals to Mineral Town and handle the main transactions for them, Grady decided to have Georgia take care of all of it. Sure, he had still come along as moral support, but this time around he was more a... bystander than anything. An assistant. Georgia was the one doing all of the talking and negotiating now.
And while she was glad for the added responsibility, it was also incredibly nerve-wracking to be handling so much of it on her own. Especially in such an unfamiliar town like this one. So, understandably, she was a bit on edge because of it.
That anxiety led her straight to the inn’s bar after she had come back from doing business with the local animal shop, in need of a relaxing drink and dinner to unwind from the long and stressful day. But no sooner than she sits down does a man in the room suddenly start catcalling her, and Georgia rolls her eyes as she shields her face with her hand, ignoring him as she tries to wait for her order.
Gotta remember what dad said--- gotta behave, and not make any scenes. Any repeat of the Selphia Incident™ certainly wouldn’t go over well with him.
But boy, was this guy making it hard. Yeesh. A drunk idiot was just what she needed tonight...
