rey was trying her best to make friends with people here, knowing that being stuck on a planet alone, was never a fun thing to do. she went up to a person and stuck up a conversation with them. “i’ve been trying to figure out what to do, so far what has been the best thing you have done at this event so far?” the jedi asked them. she wanted to get someone else’s opinion, hoping that they tried something that rey hadn’t gotten to yet. @claimedlight (any)
“it’s so strange to here about the places that so many people here are from. i mean, a lot of people are from this planet called earth and many of them have never even been to another planet.” she said to the other person. “i mean, that use to be me with jakku, but after i left, i never really wanted to go back. there was so much out there to explore, but then again, i’m stuck on a planet again.” she added. rey didn’t know how she felt, she wished she could explore other planets and fly around the galaxy. for the past five years she had never been stuck on a planet for that long, but now that didn’t seem the case since it didn’t seem like there was a way to leave. @crxckedchxssis (any)
rey had never been to an event like this, except maybe when she was searching for a way to exegol with her friends. but the jedi couldn’t really enjoy it since the first order was also after them at the time. it was really strange for rey to be able to just sit around and enjoy an event like this. it was also not like anything she saw since she defeated palpatine. while old rey might’ve not liked this whole situation, rey now, enjoyed it. she was happy to do something just to relax and have fun. she was worried about what was happening back home, but she knew there wasn’t anything she could change. and she knew from years of being on jakku sitting around waiting isn’t good or healthy for anyone. “so i feel like i might have to try one of all this food.” she laughed softly. @comicisms (any)
