hello......... little wonders art request.......... that scene of Ocean and Constance that goes:

“She’d stepped off the bus and immediately rushed to the Blackwood house, where she’d reportedly begged for forgiveness on her knees. From what I hear, there’s a lot Ocean hasn’t told us, but Constance has said in that familiar sweet voice of hers, “Everything is fine.” And for once, I believe her. 9: Were there any alternate versions of this fic?

yes. lol. several. originally annie was right alongside those mfs and got herself in the cyclone crash as well. but i couldn’t write abt that for a couple reasons, some more personal than others :] she works better as an outsider looking in anyway!

11: What do you like best about this fic?

it’s fun! it’s found family! it’s non-consequential to a point! you can kinda just pick it up and put it down wherever and it doesn’t stress you out too bad :)

15: What did you learn from writing this fic?

i remembered that writing is supposed to be fun lmfao

13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn’t listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?

I ask this specifically bc we’ve talked about the gang’s music taste and wanted to see what overlap there is between those 🤭 (and like…if you wanted to doodle some certain characters jamming out to a certain blonde American singer that we’ve discussed them enjoying……..i would treasure it forever 💖)

when annie is at her awkward terrible work party and says something about “all the dropped lunch trays and trips down flights of stairs in the world can’t compare to this” (paraphrasing)

8: Did any real people or events inspire any part of it?

not really! just vibing with rtc and i was like wouldn’t this be fun

10: Why did you choose this pairing for this particular story?

all the pairings just kind of made sense to me i guess? i love spacedolls and blackrose so those were pretty non-negotiable. i wasn’t about to put noel with a girl so that left mischa. but it worked out bc mischannie are cute :]
