Converse Rubber Tracks Live: The Weaks

Unlike a lot of bands that come by Converse Rubber Tracks, power-punk rockers The Weaks are no strangers to the studio environment - the band regularly records other local groups  in a “revolving DIY studio” that they run out of a Philadelphia warehouse. 

Last year the band came into Converse Rubber Tracks Brooklyn to session material for their debut EP,  The World is a Terrible Place & I Hate Myself And Want To Die.

Fresh studio experience turned out to be the start of a well-deserved hot streak - after being chosen by fellow punks Joyce Manor to perform at a Converse Rubber Tracks Live show in January, the band was chosen to join Brand New on a national tour. 

The band wasted no time seizing the moment - a debut album, Bad Year, is out April 7th on Lame-O Records.
