Make-up was something you were never seen without. It was something you felt like you always had to have on, even though it wasn’t healthy for your already broken out skin. Acne had been something you struggled with for a couple of years, you’ve used multiple face washing products but none of them ever seemed to work the way they needed to. So make up was the way you went to avoid everyone asking or talking about it. So for you, make-up was essential, You hardly saw yourself without it, you definitely were not about to let your boyfriend, Ruby, see you without it.

The thing about Ruby is that he tends to be pretty spontaneous and in the moment at times. He can plan an entire night and then get upset that you didn’t come, only to realize he got so caught up in it that he forget to tell you to come. Another spontaneous moment was coming your way.

Today had been planned as your free day. There was a day off of school, your younger siblings were at a friend’s house and your parents were off to work. There had been a few tv shows that you wanted to catch up on, so you designated the day to stay in bed and curl up in blankets binge watching.

A few hours later you had caught up on one of the shows, holding the second show on pause while you went to the kitchen to get some snacks you heard the doorbell. Confused, you approached the door and slowly opened it to see Ruby standing in the opening.

“Ruby?!” You were shocked to see him, he said he was busy babysitting the twins.  

“Yes! Wait- Why do you seem so taken back, baby girl?” Concerned stretched across his face as he entered the house, looking at your worried expression.

You weren’t wearing make up. Ruby had to be already disgusted by you. By now he would have kissed you, or at the very least commented on how beautiful you looked like he always did. But it was obvious, without the makeup he agreed you were ugly.

“I-I just wasn’t expecting you…” You closed the front door, trying to avoid eye contact with him and figure out how to get makeup on before he saw you for much longer, “I need to go to the bathroom real quick!”

Ruby looked at you, seeming even more confused than before, but he nodded and headed to sit on the couch. While he did that you quickly threw on foundation and tried to pump yourself back up before having to face him.

When you walked  back into the living room Ruby waited for you to sit next to him before grabbing your hand.

“I didn’t mean to startle you by coming to visit, but my dad got off early, so I didn’t have to watch the twins. I thought I should come over here to…” His voice trailed off as he examined your face closely.

You felt your jaw clench up, he was judging you. He saw you without makeup and now knew why you wore makeup. He was probably trying to see through the foundation and see the acne scars. Tears built up in your eyes as you snapped unexpectedly at your boyfriend,

“What?” Your voice came off harsher than you wanted it to, especially after you saw Ruby jolt back slightly.

“I wasn’t-.. Did you just put on makeup?” Ruby had asked a genuine question, saying moments before when he saw you, you weren’t wearing any. But you took full offense as the tears started streaming down your cheeks.

“Yes, I did.” You stated and watched as his face changed emotions. 

“How did-” Ruby tried to speak, but You didn’t want him to ask how your face had looked so different with the acne. You didn’t want to talk about it at all. 

 “I get that I’m ugly-” 

“Wait I didn’t-”  

“And you don’t want to look at my face otherwise-” 

“Hold on-“

“You can’t even kiss me-“

Ruby cut you off again before you could continue on your rant, “Baby girl, what in the world are you talking about?”

He was joking. Trying to mess with you, you could see it, “My acne.. It’s ugly.”

Ruby shook his head violently and reached up to wipe your face while carefully speaking. He made eye contact to make sure he had your attention,

“Bebé, listen to me. You are beautiful. With or without your makeup, you blow me away! Your eyes sparkle like diamonds, your smile lights up the room, and just your presence makes me happy. You have no idea how much you mean to me.”

You couldn’t help but smile as Ruby kept gushing over you. Half the things you weren’t even picking up because you were so shocked that he found you beautiful. When he grabbed your hands your attention went back to him. You opened your mouth to respond to his speech, but he signaled that he wasn’t finished. 

“No, listen to me. The only reason I asked if you had put makeup on, was because damn, baby! You put that on so fast and still looked like a queen.”

You were giggling at this point which made Ruby even happier to see that he had cheered you up. He pulled you into a kiss while telling you how much he loved you. You really were blessed with the best boyfriend ever.

You sat on Ruby’s lap with his hands tangled in your hair as he kissed you deeper.

You let out a soft moan and giggle as you nibbled on Ruby’s lower lip. You gently pressed yourself against his chest as you both got more into the makeout session.

You and Ruby were currently making out inside of the Janitor’s closet before school begins.

You may or may not have lied and said that you and Ruby would be late to meet up this morning for some other reason.

Your crew didn’t know about you and Ruby being a couple. You both tried your best to keep it on the down low. The last thing you needed with the Cesar drama was couple drama inside of the crew.

You felt Ruby panting against your lips as he pulled away slightly for air. Taking this chance, you gently placed soft kisses down his collarbone.

Ruby let out a quiet groan and bit his lip, “(Y/n), right there..” He begged as you sucked on his sweet spot.

Suddenly the door flew open and a loud voice was heard, “Girl, I know! And she’s not even that cute. He could do Way better with me-.... girl, I’ll call you back...” Jasmine said to the person on the other end of the phone.

She stared at you and Ruby with wide eyes and a shocked expression as she hung up the phone. Slowly her surprised look turned into a smirk, “Well look what we have here...” She started, crossing her arms and looking at you and Ruby.

Blushing, you quickly got off Ruby’s lap and fixed your hair, “Jasmine-“ You started but was cut off.

Jasmine held up her hand and raised an eyebrow, “I wonder if your little “family” knows what you two have been up to..?” Jasmine questioned quietly to herself.

“No!” Ruby exclaimed sitting up alert.

Jasmine’s eyes widened a little at Ruby’s reaction, “Ooooooohhhhh,” she scoffed, “I’m definitely telling now.” She spoke quickly before turning and running out of the closet.

You felt panic rising in you and you looked at Ruby worried, “What do we do?!” You looked over at your boyfriend for a solution.

“Go after her, (y/n)!” Ruby responded, opening the door for you and quickly following you down the hall.

You assumed Jasmine would go to your usual hangout and tell your friends. So you headed to the outside lunch area immediately.

“Okay, so (y/n) was all over him. Literally! She was on his lap and getting freaky on top of him. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if she got pregnant JUST from that.” You heard Jasmine say as you rushed over to the group.

Monse and Olivia glanced over at you and Ruby confused while everyone else continued to stare at Jasmine.

“Jasmine, you say this like we should be surprised or something?” Monse stated confused.

“I’ve known since I moved here.” Olivia chimed in.

“And I’ve known for like 3 months since they started making googly eyes when they think no one is watching.” Cesar commented, glancing at Jamal nodding in agreement.

You felt a blush begin covering your cheeks as you stared at your friends surprised. Ruby seemed fine and chill with everyone having guessed.

“It’s really no surprise.” Monse finished, “But thanks for the update... I guess..?” She tilted her head.

“Oh.. well whatever.” Jasmine replied, rolling her eyes, obviously embarrassed.

You shyly sat down at the table next to Ruby. “Have you all really known that long..?” You questioned, blushing and looking at everyone.

“Duh!!” They all shouted at you, causing you all to burst out laughing.

You leaned over and laid your head on Ruby’s shoulder and held his hand. Since your friends already knew, there was no point in hiding it.

Ruby kissed the top of your head before laying his head on yours and linking your fingers.

You giggled quietly as you sat straddling Ruby on his couch. You both were currently the only ones at home.

You and Ruby both had a thing for each other, so you both expressed that during your private makeout sessions.

Yes, sessions! As in this has been a reoccurring thing between you and Ruby, for about a month now.

Ruby gently pulled your hips closer, kissing you more deeply.

You couldn’t bite back the smile dancing across your lips into the kiss.

Ruby gently sucked your bottom lip, sending tingles through your body and causing butterflies.

You slowly tilted your head back, a moan escaping your lips.

“God, (y/n)” Ruby muttered, cupping your face and kissing you again.

You kissed back passionately, not hearing the doorknob to the front door jiggling.

The door swung open, filled with your friends’ happy chatter. Abruptly, all the chatter stopped as you pulled away from Ruby surprised.

Jamal threw his hand over his mouth in shock, “Ohhhhhh... wow..” he muttered.

“(Y/n)?!” Cesar shouted, surprised and with hurt veiling his face. You couldn’t understand why..

“Ruby?!” Olivia shouted at the same time, pushing through Cesar and monse. She glared at you and sent a confused and hurt expression to Ruby.

You quickly got off of Ruby’s lap and stared at your friends horrified.. no one was supposed to find out about you both.

Cesar’s hands slowly began to clench into fists and it seemed like his face was turning red, bit by bit.

“What’re you doing with him?” Cesar asked, stepping toward you both. 

You watched Cesar very confused, wondering why he was acting like this all a sudden. 

“Why does it matter?” Ruby asked, sitting up. “It’s not like it involves you.” Ruby replied, watching Cesar.

Cesar glared more, “It does involve me seeing as this is supposed to be our family, Ruby. And besides, (y/n) could do better than you.” 

You decided to cut in, “Woah, hey, you both need to stop, right now. Cesar, why’re you acting like this?” You frowned, looking up at Cesar.

Cesar sighed and angrily ran his fingers through his hair before blurting out, “Because I like you, (Y/n)!” Cesar informed you suddenly, his eyes growing wide, along with Ruby’s.

“What?!” You, Ruby, and Monse all exclaimed at the same time.

Cesar froze and glared at you all one last time before quickly exiting the house and making his way home.

“Wow. Nice going, geniuses. The family getting messed up is on your hands, (y/n).” Monse glared, walking outside to the porch. In reality she was just hurt that Cesar admitted having feelings for you, when she had feelings for him all along.

You frowned to yourself, quietly grabbing your bag and just leaving the house. “(y/n), wait!!” Ruby shouted after you, trying to catch up with you.

You shook your head and shrugged off Ruby’s hand on your shoulder, beginning to walk home. This was enough drama for one night.

Ruby frowned and walked to Monse standing at the end of the driveway, “That was not cool, Monse! Why would you say that?” Ruby questioned, annoyed at her actions and words. 

Jamal joined Ruby’s side, “Yeah, that really wasn’t necessary, Monse..” Jamal said in a disappointed tone.

Monse stepped back offended, pushing Jamal’s shoulder away, “I don’t need you! Any of you! I was just trying to keep our crew together!” Monse huffed, storming off into the night. 

Jamal and Ruby just looked at each other, defeated.

You were slowing pulling out of your deep sleep. Feeling a soft touch on your forehead and then your hair being moved around with gentle purpose made your eyes open quicker than planned. You saw Ruby had already woken up and was now playing with your hair. You watched his face scrunch up in concentration trying to braid it, not noticing you were awake yet.

He combed your hair out with his fingers attempting a second try on the braid. A small giggle escaped your lips, letting Ruby know you were awake. His eyes widen being caught,

“Y/n!” He sat up quickly on the bed, “You’re awake… It’s not what it looks like! You were just asleep and cute and your hair was just everywhere..”

You couldn’t stop yourself from laughing as you pulled Ruby down by his shirt for a kiss and whispered against his lips,

“Relax, Novio. I think it’s cute!”

A smile rose on his lips, “For real?”

You giggled quietly into the kiss as Ruby laid you down onto his bed. You were currently at your boyfriend’s house having some alone time.

The twins were out shopping with his parents, Olivia was hanging out with Jasmine and Monse, Abuela was probably out smoking somewhere, and Cesar and Jamal were who knows where.

You and Ruby finally had the privacy to show your feelings for each other, no one else knew you both were a thing.

Ruby carefully hovered himself over you during the kiss, making sure to put his weight on his elbows.

Gently nibbling at his lower lip, you wrapped your legs firmly around his waist. Ruby smirked slightly against your lips at this action and kissed you deeper.

Falling more into the moment, you kiss back eagerly and gently trail your fingers up and through Ruby’s hair. Giving a little tug on his hair, you cause Ruby to let out a whimper while moaning.

“You really are freaky, (y/n)..” Ruby teased, pulling away slightly and kissing your jaw gently.

This caused you to blush and let out a quiet giggle, “I can’t help that you’re so fine, Ruben..” You replied, calling him by his full name, knowing it makes him feel more manly.

Ruby moaned softly at the name. Pulling away from your jaw, he went back to kissing your, now plump from the makeout, lips.

You smoothly slid your tongue into the kiss and fought for dominance... which Ruby surprisingly let you have.

Swinging the door open, Jamal marches in annoyed and sits on the bed next to where you two were making out.

You quickly pulled away from Ruby, “Jamal!!” You shouted with wide eyes, “It’s not-“

Jamal cut you off and leaned back onto the bed, “My dad almost found out about the football thing, but thankfully, I managed to cover.. it was a close one, let me tell you!” Jamal said, exasperated and glancing at you both.

“Um, (y/n), you should probably fix your shirt..? Ruby definitely messed it up while getting touchy.” Jamal stated as if it were normal. “But, ANYWAY,” he finished, tossing his book bag onto the floor with a thud.

You and Ruby awkwardly glanced at each other, seeing as you both were in the same position as before, with your legs around his waist and him hovering above you.

Jamal continued his story, “So I was walking back to the house after school, BUT I completely forgot that I had ‘football practice’,” Jamal stated, using air quotes. Knowing that’s what he told his parents he was doing.

You awkwardly shifted underneath Ruby and fixed your shirt. “And-, oh, (y/n), your hickey is showing on your neck. You should probably cover that with concealer!” Jamal smiled, pointing to your neck.

You blushed and covered your neck with your hand, “So I told my dad that we had practice off today since we have a game tomorrow!! So now I have to talk coach into letting me sit on the bench tomorrow! Do you see how unbelievable this is?!” Jamal groaned out, plopping his back onto the bed. “So I guess I just basically need Ruby’s help to convince coach to let me play tomorrow! Sound good?” Jamal asked, looking at Ruby with a pleading smile.

Ruby scratched his neck a little embarrassed, “Um, for sure, Jamal. I’ll talk to him tomorrow.” Ruby answered.

“Yes!! Perfect!” Jamal exclaimed, hopping up from the bed and grabbing his bag! “Okay, that’s all I needed, thank you!” Jamal replied heading to the door with his bag!

“Wait!” Ruby called out confused, “You aren’t going to question this—..?” Ruby asked motioning to you and him. You blushed and nodded while looking at Jamal.

A laugh erupted from Jamal’s throat, “What?? No! Why would I? It’s not like everyone doesn’t already know, you guys!” Jamal responded, cracking up and holding on to the doorway for support. “You guys are hilarious!” He cackled and clapped his hands together, “Okay, carry on with your session!” Jamal waved while leaving out of the room and exiting the house.

You and Ruby just looked at each other surprised. “Well okay then...?” Ruby said confused.

You shrugged and pulled Ruby back down by his collar and kissed him again eagerly.

You smiled and walked down the street to your boyfriend’s house.

Ruby swung the door open not even a moment after you knocked, “My baby is here!!” Ruby smiled enthusiastically, pulling you into his warm embrace.

You smiled more and relaxed into the hug, “Novio, I told you I was coming?” You said, pecking his lips.

“Well I know, but it felt like it took you forever to come!” Ruby pouted, kissing you gently.

You kissed back gently, smiling against Ruby’s plump lips.

Cesar raised his eyebrow and cleared his throat from the couch, “Okay, that’s enough kissing for one minute!” Cesar said, trying to sound intimidating but broke out into a smile.

You playfully rolled your eyes at your brother and stuck your tongue out. “Oh cállate!”

Cesar feigned shock, “How dare you tell your older brother to shut up, (y/n)??”

You raised your eyebrow and crossed your arms, “How dare I?”

Cesar quickly laughed nervously, “I was kidding, Fun size Spooky. Relájate..” he responded, hoping to calm you before you bit his head off.

Ruby pulled you to the couch and wrapped his arm around you, causing you to smile and forget the attitude you almost had.

Olivia, the new girl who moved in with Ruby, walked in giving everyone a bubbly smile. She moved in a couple weeks ago.

“Hey, Olivia.” Jamal and Monse greeted at the same time.

“Hey, you guys!” Olivia smiled, sitting down on the other side of Ruby. “Hey, Ruben.” Olivia spoke flirtatiously, placing her arm on Ruby’s bicep.

You glared a little, getting ready to say something, “SO!! How was your day, Olivia??” Monse said quickly, seeing your glare and hoping that Olivia would get the hint and move her hand.

Olivia smiled and gently rubbed Ruby’s bicep while speaking, “It was pretty good! I had a great alarm clock this morning.” She joked, gently nudging Ruby and smiling. She was hinting that Ruby had been the one to wake her up.

You laughed sarcastically, “Aw! Well you know what someone can’t wake up from? Death. And that’s exactly what you’ll experience if you don’t stop touching my man, pendeja!” You glared, slapping her hand off of Ruby’s arm.

Everyone’s eyes widened, especially Olivia’s as she held her hand.

Cesar looked at you surprised, “(Y/n), don’t.”

You ignored Cesar and continued looking at Olivia, “You May think it’s okay to flirt with someone else’s man in front of them where you’re from, pero doing that here will get you cut. By me.” You glared furiously, not breaking eye contact and clenching your fists.

Olivia looked shaken up and quickly moved to sit next to Cesar, “Sorry..” She mumbled.

“Yeah, that’s what I thought.” You smiled and turn Ruby’s face to kiss you.

You could feel the vibrations of Ruby chuckling against your lips. “So feisty, fun size spooky.” He mumbled into the kiss.

You pulled away smiling proudly.

Olivia didn’t understand why that was your nickname before, but oh did she understand now.... never again would she mess with your man.

Cesar ran up to you after the final bell had went off, “Hey, are we still on for tonight??” He questioned, walking beside you!

“Yes!” You answered with a smile. Cesar needed help studying for some classes. Because of the gang business, he’s been missing a few days of school and falling behind.

You and Cesar were pretty close. He treated you as a little sister, with love, care, and respect.

“Thank you so much, I definitely owe you, mana. I’ll see you tonight ” Cesar smiled, kissing your forehead before walking off.

Ruby kept a safe distance behind you, enough to see the display of affection Cesar just pulled on you. Ruby hugged and clenched his hands into a fist. Who does he think he is putting his lips on my girl??

Ruby glared a little at the retreating Cesar and quickly caught up with you, “Hey, baby girl!” Ruby beamed, gently linking fingers with yours as you both walked.

You looked over at your boyfriend and gave him a soft kiss, “Hi, boo! How are you?” You asked, smiling and beginning the walk home.

“I’m doing good! I was thinking I could come over tonight and we could do something?” Ruby suggested, hoping to finally spend some time with you since you’d been busy lately.

“Ugh, tonight doesn’t work for me, mi amor. I’m going over Cesar’s house-“ You started, but was interrupted by Ruby suddenly stopping.

“Why are you going over his house?” Ruby asked with a twinge of jealous in his voice. He eyed you carefully, waiting for your answer.

“I’m helping him study for a couple classes.” You stated, tilting your head at Ruby’s sudden questioning.

“Oh... well are you both going to be studying long..?” Ruby questioned, quietly.

“Baby... are you okay?” You looked at Ruby concerned.

“Psh, What?? Yeah, I’m fine!” Ruby smiled, and tried to shrug off his jealousy.

You smiled while kissing Ruby gently and walking off, “I’ll see you later, baby!”

Ruby gently grabbed your arm and pulled you back to him while pouting, “But what if he tries kissing you?? Please tell me nothing happened..You’re my princesa, not his... or what if he touches you-“ You kissed Ruby again to stop his rambling.

You could feel Ruben smile into the kiss and wrap his arms around your waist. You pulled away barely from his lips and whispered, “What’s with all the questions, boo?”

Ruby blushed and sighed a little. Tracing small shapes on your hand, he mumbled, “I’m jealous of how often you hang out with Cesar.. what if he steals you from me..?” Ruby asked quietly.

You pouted and looked at Ruby, “Aw, mi amor.. Cesar is like an older brother to me. He wouldn’t try to take me away from you. And besides, you’re my novio, not anyone else. I only want you.” You assured Ruby, pulling him into a hug.

Ruby smiled more and hugged you closer, “I’m sorry about being jealous, I just care about you too much to lose you. I love you, Princesa.” Ruby finished, pressing a kiss against your forehead.

You and Ruby were walking home from school. He was so excited about getting his own room that he wouldn’t stop talking about it. He’s never had his own room before.

You smile as you both walk into his house, “Hi, Mrs. Martinez!” You greet Ruby’s Mother, walking into the dining room.

“Hola, (y/n).” She responds with a warm smile, continuing to fold laundry. “I’m going to run to the bathroom really quick.” You tell Ruby, kissing his cheek and walking to the bathroom.

You finish your business and enter back into the living room, “What do you mean I don’t have my own room?? Abuelita moved out!” You heard Ruby whine.

“Yes, she did move out, but now your prima needs it!” She responded, while setting some folded clothes down.

You tilted your head confused. Prima? What cousin?

“Well she’s not your real cousin.” His mom went on to explain, smiling.

Suddenly a tall, beautiful girl stepped into the room.

Ruby’s eyes widened and he stared up at the girl. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t feel a bit jealous at the way he was looking at her. He usually only looks at you that way..

So now there’s a new girl living with your boyfriend. Yay. But this all happened a week ago, and this is now—

“So, baby, I was thinking we could do a movie tonight??” You asked, smiling excitedly over at Ruby, who was on his phone texting. “Babe?” You asked, tilting your head.

Ruby’s head snapped up quickly, “Hm? Yeah of course!” He replied looking a bit lost and then looking back down at his phone.

You shrugged away him acting weird, “So we can go see a movie tonight??” You asked again, a wide smile spreading across your face.

Ruby’s head snapped back up, “What? Oh no! I made plans with Olivia tonight already... sorry, (y/n)..” Ruby apologized, watching you.

Your smile faltered and you nodded a little. Ever since Olivia showed up, she’s always wanting Ruby’s help with something, even if it’s completely stupid.

Yesterday when I was over for breakfast, she asked Ruby to grab the box of cereal for her... SHE IS LIKE TWO FEET TALLER! *internal groan*

“No it’s fine, I get it, Rube..” You replied, smiling softly and following Ruby into his house.

“Ruby, you’re finally home!!” Olivia squealed excitedly, leaping into Ruby’s arms as soon as you both walked through the door.

This caused Ruby to drop his phone and quickly catch Olivia, wrapping his arms around her torso. Ruby let out a chuckle and carried her to his couch to set her down.

You picked up his phone while him and Olivia talked on the couch. “So about tonight, Ruby..” Olivia started, but you zoned out.

You stared at the text Olivia had sent to Ruby just moments ago, “Just don’t tell (y/n). We don’t know how she would react to this, amor. Xoxo”

All at once it felt like rage, anger, sadness, betrayal, hurt, and more rushed through your veins at once.

You looked up at Ruby and Olivia giggling and talking quietly on the couch. “Are you serious, Ruben...?” You asked, stepping towards them.

There was pain in your voice as you spoke, “Don’t tell me what..? Are you cheating on me with Olivia now..?” You questioned holding the phone out to Ruby.

Ruby’s eyes bulged and he quickly grabbed the phone, “Baby, it’s not what it looks like. I promise.” Ruby pleaded, trying to reach for your hand.

You pulled your hand back, too hurt to be touched. “It’s not what it looks like..? She’s sending you texts like that and you’re ditching me for her, and you have the audacity to tell me it’s not what it looks like??” You scoffed and shook your head making your way to the door.

Olivia sat there quietly not saying a word. Her face just held a guilty expression.

“You don’t have to worry about hiding anything from me anymore, Ruby. You can be with Olivia.” You spoke softly, walking out of the house.

“(Y/n), wait!!” You heard Ruby shout before you closed the door and quickly made your way home.

You had gotten most of your crying out of the way on your way home.

You slowly stepped out of your shower and grabbed your towel. What does she have that I don’t? You thought while drying your hair with another towel.

Letting out a sigh, you grabbed your pajamas and got changed. You thought you heard rustling outside of the door but ignored it.

You stepped out of the bathroom, getting ready to lay down when you heard a knock on your bedroom door, “Mama?” You asked, tilting your head at the thought of your mom knocking instead of asking to come in.

Ruby slowly opened your door and entered your room, “Mi amor,” Ruby started, taking your hands into his.

Your Head was screaming to kick him out, but your body wanted the comfort and contact of the boy you loved. And because of this, you didn’t pull your hands away this time, rather you pulled Ruby to sit on your bed with you.

You decided to be the bigger person and hear Ruby out. The last thing you wanted was to officially lose the person who meant a lot to you, Your Ruben.

“Princesa.. I am not, nor would I ever want to cheat on you. I love you more than I could ever express in words.” Ruby spoke, gently caressing your face with his left hand. You leaned your head into his hand, relaxing and listening to him. “The truth is, I’ve been spending more time with Olivia because she’s been helping me plan our anniversary coming up. I wanted it to be so special and the biggest surprise for you. So Olivia told me to keep quiet about it.” Ruby bit his lip and looked into your (e/c) brown eyes. His thumb kept gently stroking against your cheek. “I want you, and only you, baby girl. You make me feel like I can do anything as long as I have you. I-I don’t want to let that go, princesa...”

Ruby swiftly leaned in and pressed his lips to yours, cupping your face with both hands. You felt yourself melting into the kiss and kissed back. It felt like everything was coming back together and maybe you just misjudged Olivia.

But all you could focus on was Ruben and his heartfelt apology. “Please forgive me, mi amor..” Ruby whispered against your lips, brushing a piece of your hair back from your face.

You smiled and kissed Ruby again while hugging him tightly, “I forgive you, Rube.” You told him, pecking his lips once more. “And I love you too, baby.”
