*Steeples fingers dramatically* So hot take that I’m sure plenty of ppl would disagree with, but consider; the paired endings in FE3H are written in the voice of a historian who didn’t actually know the characters personally. Conclusion? Every A rank is actually romantic, some ppl just weren’t public or open about their romance. Evidence? Some of the characters can’t A rank ppl even if they have C and B supports, so those are the Romantically Incompatible types. *Drops mic and scurries away*
and honestly? yes... the paired endings - or what I’ve heard of this - are basically just full on home of sexual. so of course you’d have historians playing tug of war over it.... were Dorothea and Petra ever officially together? or not? yes they were
i was considering writing a Dimitri and Byleth thing postgame! I’m assuming that Bylad and Dimitri don’t have a paired ending together, so a fic expanding on their future happenings? like anon 1 is suggesting? either from the pov of a historian/someone else/another form entirely, such as letters written to one another?
