Fo4 companions react to Sole launching a nuke at the Prydwen immediately after leaving fort hagen

(this is based on an inside joke about rainclaw from my ocs WHWHWHWH)

Codsworth

“Oh pesky weapons always malfunctioning, sir/mum! But uh…we should see if they’re still alive…” Codsworth refuses to believe Sole actually meant to do that. Must be a massive mistake, right? …Right?

Maccready

“Woah woah woah where’d you even get that?!” He almost doesn’t know how to respond. What the FUCK just happened. He has so many questions. Where did Sole get that launcher? Why did they not tell Maccready they had it? Did Sole just do that for fun??? Do they even know who the brotherhood is???

Piper

“BLUE! WE’VE BEEN OVER THIS!” Piper is so fucking pissed GOD. Sole has a habit of just nuking anything that they don’t recognize. Piper thought they finally kicked their nuke habit but then they had to launch a nuclear missile straight at an airship…thing. God, Piper didn’t even have the time to process what it was before Sole vaporized it.

Cait

“My thoughts exactly, whatever the hell that was was bad news for all of us.” If Cait had a nuke she would also do the exact same. Sole tries to high five her but Cait leaves them hanging as she’s too busy being enthralled by the sight of whatever the fuck that thing was exploding.

Hancock

He doesn’t know if he should condone Sole’s actions or. Yeah the brotherhood hates ghouls but the sheer lack of hesitation has him thinking that Sole just did that for fun. How the fuck does he respond to this.

Deacon

“Well thats uh. One enemy down I guess.” He doesn’t know if he should feel fear or victory.

Strong

“Good. Strong hate flying building. Flying building go DOWN!” Strong liked that.

Curie

“Oh no! Were they enemies in disguise?” She doesn’t really know anything about the brotherhood but she trusts that whatever Sole did was a good idea.

Nick

“Was that really necessary?” He is so used to Sole nuking things for sport he isn’t phased anymore, he’s just tired.

He grips Sole’s shoulder firmly and stares into their eyes. “Solider. What The Fuck.”

Gage

“Show em who’s boss!” Gage loves murder and maiming, this is just another tuesday for him.

Scrunginand

“The ephemeral light of the transient journey lies in the wake of the old world, it’s limbs a reminder of what once was.” Sole has no idea what the fuck that means but gives a thumbs up to which Scrunginand says,”Alas, the dreams shan’t end as long as the transient light burns evermore.”

Ruby

“…Let’s just hope they don’t know it was us that did that.” He then proceeds to backflip off the fort (and fails) trying to make a run for it. Sole does the same so he doesn’t feel alone.

Rainclaw

“Not if I do it first.” He could read the nuke desiring look on Sole’s face, trying to be the first one to blast down the Prydwen. The two end up holding hands as they nuke it at the same time. Love truly wins.
