My (green) uni has some out ex-reds but we're all starving college students lol so there's not so much donating, more "you use my coffee maker ten times as often as I do, just keep it in your dorm and I'll come over when I want some" and "I bought a bulk box of microwave noodles and I'm trying not to OD on sodium, take these" and "I'm out of clean clothes" "Here, this shirt is yours now, wear it as a symbol of our friendship" and "GUESS WHAT they had at the thrift store!!!" etcetera etcetera.

Oh, yeah! So that makes sense! I know exactly what you’re talking about! And we do have more ex-reds that are out than any other caste, probably!
But I wouldn’t want to be giving donations to ~just my fellow greens~, though!
And it seems like a charity would be more able to distribute resources to where they’re ~needed most~. They’d have a much larger reach than I do individually, after all.
