Ruby-Grace Gilmore is the first Deaf Mage at Soltrum Academy. Before her, it was thought that you had to use spoken language to cast spells, Ruby-Grace is the inventor of ASL based magick. She was born to a water nymph and a mage and uses her mother’s family symbol (crescent moon) as her spellcasting focus.
