The week had been a hellish nightmare and while Helena wasn’t one to wear it in her expression, the darkness under her eyes was trying to give it away. She wasted no energy on trying to cover them up as the New York streets were starting to take on their usual summer heat and there was no doubt it would just drip down her face. Mostly because her main form of transportation happened to be in the form of a bicycle, but it saved on having to pay for gas or bus. So as the dark witch pulled up to the bike lock, she was really hoping that Ruby wouldn’t think anything of it and just keep her mind on other things. Ringing came from a bell at the door and Helena greeted the woman with a gracious smile, truly excited that she would actually be able to take a peek at the place where her new friend worked and created. It was always a nice break from her stressful times with the Ouroboros and see the life of another. “I hope I’m not too early,” she practically exclaimed, moving closer to the counter with bright pink cheeks, “Just couldn’t wait to see what all you had come up with.”
