Imagine Ruby Rose catching you crying.
Even though Ruby was in the shower, you slowly turned the doorknob to get into the bathroom. You had intended for it to be quick, just grab some tissues and clean up your watery mascara then get on with your day, but once you caught sight of how pathetic you looked with tear stains running down your face, you couldn’t help but sob more.
“You okay?” Ruby asked. The tears blurred your vision, so you could only see the hazy form of her step out of the shower, dripping wet and entirely naked. You blinked and looked down at the sink.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” You said, wiping the dampness away from your cheeks.
“What’s the matter?” She asked, softly, not letting the matter go.
“Just some assholes tried to mug me. I’m frustrated more than upset.” You admitted.
“Shit,” Ruby whistled, grabbing a towel and rubbed her short hair with it to get the excess moisture out. “You’re alright. Those assholes have to steal from you to get their cigarettes, while you’ve got me to get you dinner.”
She walked up behind you and wrapped her arms around you. You could feel your clothes getting wet, but that didn’t matter. You ran your fingers against her tattooed arms and smiled at your reflection, immediately feeling better.
