I ordered this on impulse a couple of days ago & it has arrived! 😄

It's so cute! Since it's a toy camera, the picture quality is of course equivalent to the earlier days of camera phones when they first started to emerge;

27th September 2025, Saturday Listening: Kau Ilhamku, Man Bai

Staycashe weekend! Though unfortunately it's still a working weekend for me, so I had no choice but to bring my laptop along 😞

Taped my usual room tour as soon as I checked in,

Did work a bit while waiting for the time for THE event of the month, M Nasir! I surprised Zuls with the tickets back in July as an advanced birthday treat and time flew by so fast, we're finally here!

In all honesty, the only song I remember of M Nasir's was 'Bonda', and Zuls gave me a song called 'Sentuhan Listrikmu'. But I still genuinely enjoyed the show despite not knowing the rest of M Nasir's (massive) catalogue. His showmanship was excellent and I liked seeing Zuls excited so it was a great night! Also proud of the seats I picked! (I googled extensively prior to purchasing to ensure the best for the birthday man 😂)

Super fun night! Ended the night at NLBH Harts for dins because that was the only place we could think of that opened until late.

Happy birthday!! Pictures below were from my toy camera hahaha

Ended the day at my turf but unfortunately the cafe was closing, so we had to tapao and ended up eating in the car after Asar at Umar. Whipped out my Sony, snapped some pics & even taped a Croisserie taste test hehe

Despite the fact that I still had to work in between during the weekend, it was a great week! Hope Zuls had a great birthday! 🤗

Back to work. Im not sure there's something wrong with my eyes or my face has swollen up yet again because my eyes felt and looked slanted today. Anyway, breakfast of botak nasi lemak and lunk of Neighbowl.

Tanglin for lunk today. It has been awhile! I suggested Zuls to watch T2 yesterday since he's a fan of the first movie. I think Danny Boyle makes good stuff. This scene was definitely nostalgic

My September has been extremely eventful. Could it possibly be my new favourite month? 🤗

15th September 2025, Monday Listening: Fire, Kasabian

Hooray for today’s additional public holiday in commemoration of tomorrow’s Malaysia Day 🇲🇾

Super late lunk. Zuls initially wanted to take me to this one minang spot somewhere in Batu Caves but the shop was already closing so no more nice lauk left. I was already extremely hungry, so we ended up at this place called TF Value Mart and ate Bumbu Babah. At this point, I could've eaten a piece of paper and find that tasty, so I couldn't really judge the taste of the rice fairly at my state of starvation 😅

I can't remember what else we did, but I had a sudden hankering for an espreski so we went to Dome but ended up ordering more food despite the rice we had earlier 😂. Whipped out the Sony again,

On the way back to the parking lot, came across an art exhibit at the concourse and while we were viewing, an uncle came to us and started talking about the painting. That's when we realized it was the artist himself, rusdimohamad

Water interruption at our housing area 😩 Went to Jaya just for the toilet and bought a bunch of bottled water,

But yesterday's flowers that Zuls got me kind of made my day a bit better hehe.

For lunk, I joined YY to tapao stuff from this burger shop near the office and since I don't eat bread, I requested my burger without the buns, assuming that they'd serve me with the patty + its condiments like lettuce, onions, etc.. but this was what I received;

what a cruel joke.

Anyway, documenting my nails from Sunday before I remove the polish off;

I've gotten so sick of matching with multiple strangers in one day so I listed the stripey shirt on my Carousell and it was immediately snapped up..blue striped shirt is definitely THE trend of 2025..

20th September 2025, Saturday Listening: Summer Girls, LFO

Pickle ball day with the SKC girls! It was so much fun! We didn't play by the rules 😂 And we found out later that the court was rated as one of the worst in PJ but it didn't matter at all because what matters most is who you're with 🫶🏼

We barely played for 10mins but was already looking forward to our brunch 😂 We continued our catch up sesh over brunch at Flour, Fire & Stone.

Also brought out my Lumix out to play today,

It was an extremely fun day! 🫶🏼

21st September 2025, Sunday Listening: What a Wonderful World, Joey Ramone

Last night 21 mentioned about hot springs so today we decided to go all the way to Sungkai,

It was all fun and games until it was time to finally go back and there was NO CLEAN RESTROOMS for me to use to change into dry clothes. It was horrific and I cried when I had no choice but to use one anyway because I couldn't possibly get into the car all wet. This is me minutes before breaking down into tears 😂;

Dirty restrooms aside, it was truly a fun excursion despite the fact that I also hate getting into water with other people. Something about being in a soup of other people's bodily functions just don't seem appealing to me.

We hit Sederhana in PJ for lunk and ended the day with coffee from 7 Spades. Ok la..

Eventful weekend indeed, looking forward to next week's gig!

Another girls' day out but today it's mani pedi day with Bubu. I chose the wrong colour combinashe for my nails, the pink turned out to be so 80s and they don't match with the silver polish I picked for my left hand.. Lunk at tobeyi fields.

The H&M haul that I bought yesterday, arrived! That was super fast. Unfortunately one of the pants didn't fit quite right at the waist so I may have to alter it..

Samurai burger for lunk. It's so good because I love mayonnaise & beef. Looking forward to tomorrow's second PH of the week!

5th September 2025, Friday - Salam Maulidur Rasul! Listening: So Sad, So Sad, Varsity

Morning started with me taking down the curtain near my bed for a wash but right after it was done with the washing machine, the curtain has badly frayed.. So now Im substituting with a blanket to cover my bedside window.

Met up with 2121 after Friday prayers and went to teppanyaki because I've been craving. He randomly made small chats with the guy (named John) who sat beside us and they ended up chatting throughout the meal. Turned out, John & his wife actually lives near my turf. What a small world..

Decided to jalan2 some more in KL, ended up at the capsquare area,

There used to be a supermarket called Lulu, I've never been inside, but I remember seeing people at work coming back from lunch breaks with plastic bags from Lulu. Today we found out that Lulu has been permanently closed. So sad.

Anyway, entered Jakel just for fun. I didn't know they sell readymade clothes? Good option for Raya and even though they're cheap, they're actually quite nice.

The most random of all was this cute surau we stumbled upon while driving around to find a spot to Asar called madrasah bustanul ulum. The area was nicely designed so we took photos after prayers :p

For dins we had bebek at uptown. Oh how I've missed the bebek at Sinjay :(

Ended the day with a nightcap at Mika ☕️

Very random Sunday where Zuls wanted to take me to visit his late Atok's kubur in KL but first stop was Vicchuda to fuel up. After the kubur visit, stopped by Gasket to send my shoes for a clean, & for some reason our conversation went to durians and he has never tasted musang king before so went to SS 2 and I bought some because everyone needs to taste musang king!! (but I later learned that black thorns are tastier?). Nightcap at % ☕️

Brought the Sony out to play today. I never seem to learn how to make the proper settings, so the pictures turned out too bright. Oh well, as long as I had fun 😬

It was a great 1st week of September because we only worked for 3 days 😊
