Gifts of big pillows!

One set of pillows for a housewarming present for a friend. My mom saw the first set and stated that it would be so nice if I could make her a set as well. So. A second set of pillows for my mom for Christmas.

I accidentally cut the back panels of mom's pillows too small but I am super happy with my work-around!

The fabric is all from Ruby Star Society's Speckled collection. The pattern is called "Simone" by TaraLee Quiltry.

A final note, two of the 26"×26" pillow forms from Ikea make each pillow the perfect amount of stuffed!

She believed she could, and so she did squeeze in a few more handmade Christmas gifts for family and friends, and new stockings for the family 💪🏻 I’m so glad I was able to make a bunch of handmade gifts this year! There is just something about gifting an item that you put your whole heart into, that really embodies the true meaning of “The Season of Giving”. I needed that, especially after this past year. 🤞🏻Fingers crossed, the recipients like their gifts! Yesterday was a good post day! I needed new needles for my current knitting project and popped into my basket this @rubystarsociety Purl fabric. I want to make a needle roll for my knitting needles, but should I have gone with the Shell colourway for the inside fabric, rather than the Florida? Further adventures in mask making.
