There is a set of surprising collaborations that put one of the persons there through a perspective that one usually is not seen in. To give you an example of this – Robbie Williams worked with Pet Shop Boys. While this may seem strange, we have to remember Robbie Williams is closer to them than many would've been willing to admit. He has their wit, yet he connects this one with his showmanship into a blend that reminds you of a drunk that hates being a drunk. I mean, the fact he made a tune about a guy ditching his girlfriend for Madonna? While I could see Pet Shop Boys doing that on their own, Robbie brings that to a dimension of a successful guy who never stopped being a fanboy. He's a paradox, i.e. he never stopped seeing himself as an underdog.
