Rude Caity

Rolling her eyes as she heard Caitlyn there was an exasperated sigh from Jinx as she crouched down by the sheriff. “I. Said. Hold. Still. It’s a simple enough request. Wow, and people say I don’t pay attention.” Reaching out Jinx tugged at Caitlyn’s sleeve near her shoulder to get a better look at the gashed shoulder. “Now that looks like it musta hurt. I’ll bet it was…” Voice trailing off for a moment Jinx looked at Caitlyn frowning as though offended.
“My doing? My doing?” Standing up Jinx’s hands went to her hips as she scoffed, and shook her head. “I’m disappointed Caity. Really, and kind of offended honestly. First of all do you see any of my trade marks? Any style at all?” Spreading her hands Jinx spun around letting her braids go out wide as she indicated a complete lack of graffiti, chompers, gas, smoke, or anything that would disorient and cause fear. It’d been an attack sure, but a rather boring one if any kind of life or death situation could be considered boring. “Besides if I was finally ready for you to be dead, and out of my hair for good…”
Head tilting a bit Jinx’s face went utterly blank, and cold. For a moment there wasn’t rage, or any thing else. It was like a wild dog looking at a prey animal, and trying to decide if it was hungry enough to eat or not. “You’d be dead, and it would be by my hand.”
Stepping back in Jinx crouched down, and smiled cheerfully. “So please don’t insult me like that again. It’s rude. Even I can admit you are a good shot so don’t act like this is the best I can do. Now with that said…” Voice trailing off for a second Jinx went through her pockets before pulling out a couple of packaged clean bandages that could be wrapped around Caitlyn’s wounds in one hand, and than what could charitably be called a medical staple gun. “Wrap it, or staple it? I’m in a good mood so I’ll let you pick.”
