Interview With Christy Keller From “Bloody Bobby”
I’ve been following the progress of grindhouse horror, “Bloody Bobby” over the past couple years. Interviews with writer Ryan McGonagle, and actor Curt Clendenin, are posted elsewhere on this site. Since the film is in post-production, I’ve decided to quickly get some more interviews before its finished and everyone gets too busy. Which inspired me to catch up with Scream Queen, Christy Keller. IMDb lists her as “Tiffany Woodruff.” This is what she had to say.
Rudolph Meltzer-
What or who inspired you to get into acting?
Christy - I always loved movies from a young age, starting with 'The Little Mermaid'. I used to say I wanted to be a mermaid when I grew up. I guess becoming a working actress is only slightly less impossible. I really loved Baz Lurman's Romeo + Juliet, too. How did you first hear about Bloody Bobby and what interested you in the project?
I submitted myself to audition though CAZT, which is a new-style casting company. The energy and spirit of the people involved seemed very fun, and it's a cool original story. IMDb lists you as "Tiffany Woodruff" in Bloody Bobby. Can you please tell us a little bit about this character?
Tiffany is a small town girl who cares for her family and friends, but she also has a bit of a wild side and a strange internet boyfriend. I'm impressed that Robert Miano from Donnie Brasco appears in the film. Did you have scenes with him?
No, I didn't have any scenes with him. Love that movie, though. Who are some of your favorite actors/actresses you'd like to work with and why?
I think Cate Blanchett is amazing. She is a very powerful actress. Sam Rockwell and Paul Dano are also impressive and unique talents. They all make good choices of movies to be in. What kinds of characters would you like to play in future movies and tv shows?
I really love comedy. It would be fun to do some of that in the future. There are many times when a film comes out and those who helped make it, are surprised by its success. Are you prepared to become huge in Japan?
Sure. I would love to visit Japan regardless!
Thank you Christy, for taking the time out of your busy schedule for this interview. We look forward to seeing you soon, on the Tinseltown Silverscreen!
