I’ve just realized the comedic implications of having named a small town turned well-off city the combination of the names of the two most influential people without their input. Like...the people who lived here wanted to honor the two people who “saved” their village/town from starvation and poverty and they chose to rename the now city after both of them. Not telling the two until years after the decision was made....and these two are constantly in competition with one another. You know Xadrian and Runais had some things to say when they found out:
1. Runais’ name is “first”
2. Xadrian has more letters in the name
3. why did it take them so long to find out? and
4. the ENTIRE city is just in on these two’s shenanigans and fully know about their secret relationship.
Like... Rudrian might be the funniest city name I’ve ever created and only because I couldn’t figure out a good name and decided to just mash these two’s names together because it was the only inspiration I had. They are just so committed to their rivalry that they didn’t even know the place changed it’s name until 10 years later or something and they definitely overheard it or something.
