Watching a Shark Movie Together

You weren’t exactly a horror movie fanatic.

But, Iwaizumi seemed so excited so how could you resist?

So when he rented 47 Meters Down you plastered a smile on your face as you snuggled into him on the couch.

He wrapped his arm around you, and you leaned into him, “Hey doll, are you sure you’re okay with watching this?” His eyebrows creased slightly, “you seem kinda nervous.” You quickly shut him down, “Yes! Of course I am.” You grinned reassuringly.

Still conflicted, he played the movie

Thirty minutes in and you figured you probably had a fear of sharks, fish, and anything on the ocean.

You glanced up at him sneakily, and he was intently staring at the screen, his eyes wide with fascination.

“This is unrealistic.” He decided suddenly. “Y/n, unless you want to keep watching, I don’t really feel like finishing the movie.” He said, running one hand through his hair.

Smiling in relief, you got up from his hold and went to make some popcorn

Iwaizumi quickly read the rest of the plot on Wikipedia and pretended he was still picking another movie to watch

“Are you sure this is safe Hajime?” You asked your boyfriend, who was eagerly taking off his shirt

“Although... I did hear from Makki that there were a few shark sightings here.” he said gruffly, the smile gone.

All the blood left your face as your heartbeat quickened

And then he ran and jumped.

“HAJIME!” You screamed, as close to the cliff as you could get without feeling dizzy.

He had disappeared under the crystal blue waters.

Just as tears were about to come to your eyes, his head popped up above water as he laughed loudly

“I was joking you dummy! Now join me beautiful I promise it’s safe.” He treaded the waters, “Trust me!”

And so you jumped.

Hello, Rei. I have you on my OC Creator's Bingo card. I love the MCU, so I was thrilled to see some OCs for that on your masterlist. Most of these are for Sasha Harmon.

What is Sasha's fundamental truth? What does she believe in no matter what? And is there anything that can shake her belief?

Does Sasha have any tattoos or piercings? If she does, is there any meaning behind them? If not, does she wish she did?

How would Sasha, herself, describe her family?

If you could have lunch with one of your original characters, which one would you choose and why? Which one would you pick last?

What is Sasha's darkest secret? What do you think woul happen if said secret got out?

1. I thought on this question for about 30 minutes; it’s such a good question and it’s tricky for Sasha because so much of her story she has to adapt to a new challenge almost constantly, so thinking of what is fundamental to her is tricky. Ultimately, Sasha believes in the people she loves. At the start of her story it shows in how much she trusts her adoptive father. He raised her to hide her abilities so she would be kept safe from those like SHIELD who would use her or treat her like an experiment. She listened to him and trusted him, always believing that he has the best of intentions for her. In IM2, when Tony is at his most self destructive and trying to push everyone away, Sasha never gives up on him. She won’t let him accept his fate because she believes he can find a way out. Sasha loves so so deeply and gives her trust fully, so her belief in those she loves isn’t something that can be shaken easily; it would take extreme circumstances. 2. Sasha has several piercings in her ear, the first from when she is sixteen and the next few when she is in college. No deep meaning behind them, other than fashion and enjoying earrings. Sasha doesn’t have any interest in tattoos for herself. She thinks tattoos are cool and had a lot of fun designing one for Darcy, Part of Sasha’s mutation is not only the ability to turn invisible, but strange marks on her body that she has hidden all her life. She’s too focused on hiding those than adding more marks to her skin.

3. I think the most fun way to answer this question is share the contact names Sasha has set for her family members: Dad Jokes 🌱  (her dad), Light of my Life 💜 (Darcy), Brohemian Rhapsody  (Tony), Madam President (Pepper), Rhodes (Rhodey) Happy Feet (Happy), Scandinavian Science Uncle 👨‍🔬 (Erik Selvig), Agent E 😎 (Easton), Isobel (her mother) 

4. I hate a hard time picking from my ocs who I would want to have lunch with cause I love them all for different reasons. I think I would want to have lunch with my legend of korra oc Jae Shin the most. I’m biased because I love and am fascinated by the world of atla, so I would ask her a lot questions about it and she would be a great person to answer because of how much she has studied about bending and the different cultures. Also I just want to hug Jae Shin and would like to comfort her, cause I know how she views herself and I would just want to be gentle with her and let her know that she is better than she believes and she doesn’t have to carry so much. It was easier to decide who I would never have lunch with and that is Rue Potter. First of all, she probably would hate to have lunch with me, if I’m a stranger. She’s such an intense person and really doesn’t have time for anyone she doesn’t deeply care about or needs. Knowing what I know about all that she does and will do throughout her story, I know I wouldn’t be able to comfort her or warn her or talk to her, she’s so set in her ways and in her choices. Like it wouldn’t at all be a fun time; Rue lowkey is a nightmare, but I love that about her, as a character. Would not actually want to ever meet her. 

5. Sasha doesn’t really have any ‘dark’ secrets, especially when I have a character like Rue who lives only in darkness and secrecy. Sasha doesn’t have many secrets in her life, mostly because she is a terrible liar and her secrets always get out at some point or another. For most of her life, she hides her mutation, and when that comes to light to SHIELD, it makes her life so much more complicated. She’s done her best to go unnoticed, even when she learns she is Tony’s sister. She wants to keep her adoptive father’s name and doesn’t really want the world to know she is a Stark, because it doesn’t matter to her. Sasha values her private life far more than her public life, Tony being her brother and acting like a brother to her matters more than the name attached. When it does leak to the public with the SHIELD file drop, #secretstark is one of the trends on twitter and there’s a lot of media attention put on Sasha, so she will have to deal with being a figure in the public eye when she never wanted it.

Please ramble about Rue, I love her

I can rant about Rue all day long, I love her so damn much.

Her wand is Vine with a Phoenix feather core (but her feather comes from a completely different Phoenix than Harry’s). 

Fun facts about Vine wines: their owners seek a greater purpose and have a vision beyond the ordinary and who frequently astound those who think they know them best. They attracted by personalities with hidden depths. These wands sometimes emit magical effects upon the mere entrance into their room of a suitable owner.

Rue’s wand instantly made itself known when she entered Ollivander’s.

Growing up with the Dursleys cemented a strong bond between Rue and Harry. They always had to share the spare room. Rue is the more cautious of the twins and is extremely protective of Harry. 

When they find out about the whole Boy Who Lived fame, Rue is never jealous of Harry. She hates the fame because of the expectation and demands it puts on him. Rue never lets herself be pitted against Harry because she loves him too much. He’s her twin, her only family. 

So when it comes time for Hogwarts, the twins of course want to stick together—they’ve always been together so they just assumed they would be in the same house.

Wrong. Harry is sorted into Gryffindor first. Rue is nearly a Hat Stall because she argues with the Hat to put her in Gryffindor, but the Hat refuses and keeps trying to convince her she would do great in Slytherin. As a compromise, the Hat sorts her into Ravenclaw.

Rue struggles to make friends as a first year because most people just want to use her to get close to Harry and she isn’t kind to them in response so she’s a bit alienated. Harry and Rue try to spend time together and stay close, but he has a much more active life with the Golden Trio and with Quidditch. Because they’re in different houses, Rue misses out on all the adventures and usually only hears about them through gossip at breakfast.

Second year, Rue does a better job of socializing with some help. She meets Luna and becomes very protective of her. Rue grew up hearing herself be called freak more often than her own name, so she does not take kindly to anyone who would call Luna Looney.

Rue’s close friend group will expand to include Theodore Nott.

Rue is a really excellent student and has a deep love of magic. (Very inspired by Julia Wicker’s quote: do you love magic? Is it in your soul?). So from the start, she’s spending a lot of her time studying magic outside of school work and has a lot of mentors through the years who help her grow her power.

She is at the top of the class, a bit of a rival to Hermione, but that competition is one-sided on Hermione’s part in year one.  Rue respects Hermione a lot and Hermione comes to appreciate Rue’s studious nature, but Rue likes to experiment with magic and Hermione is very rigid in how she approaches magic. Undoubtedly, Rue’s best subjects are Transfiguration and Potions. 

Remus is Rue’s godfather and they become extremely close throughout third year. Rue attends the Patronus lessons with Harry, but Rue also spends a lot of time one on one with Remus to learn more about him and their parents. 

She figures out he is a werewolf pretty quickly and he soon reveals that the Marauders became Animagi in secret to help him during the full moon. 

Rue quickly decides to become an animagus herself, so she can help Remus. But since she is only 13, she goes through the process legally and asks McGonagall for help. 

McGonagall is hesitant at first, but Rue makes it clear that she’s going to become an Animagus no matter what. McGonagall recognizes the stubborn look in her eye and agrees just so she can keep an eye on Rue and make sure nothing goes wrong. 

By the end of summer before fourth year, Rue successfully transforms into an animagus.

Rue’s animagus form is a red-tailed hawk. Which is hilarious because Rue hates flying after a disastrous broom lesson first year and she has never liked Quidditch either. It takes her a few weeks to learn how to fly as a hawk.
