i would give im so many kisses, you dont underSTAND-
I'm a big fan of taking my own reg images and using those, because I always feel scared that someone will recognise the ref I may use? Even if that's what they're FOR?!? Meh, anyway, I take my own refs.
Problem with that is I have a double astigmatism, and that makes my eyes not look the 'right' way when I take photos, cus one eyes bigger and they sit slightly off in the sockets, and it's nothing major, but because of it, when I draw pupils in after using my own face as a ref, my characters have wonky eyes that look unfocused lol
It's fine when I draw band cross, cus h has nystagmus and I like drawing his eyes slightly unfocused to show that, but for legit ANY OTHER CHARACTER it's annoying hehe
