ruffcream replied to your photoset:Ulrich eating some horrifically prepared foie gras...
i looked it up and i should’ve listened to you
the terrible mental images are yours to keep now. forever.
ruffcream replied to your post:*Reads your long post about William* ... *LOUD APPLAUSE* sERIOUSLY, THANK YOU... I never liked William in CL (Admittedly I like him in CLE) but I was thinking that if I said so people would automatically assume it is because I'm a Ulumi fan, because William is a well-liked character now, when in actuality it's pretty much for the reasons you mentioned. (Plus he's a smug, arrogant shit.)
Concerning that one point about Aelita, that’s like the exact reason why I always joke about how everything was better before Aelita “turned” human (aka Season 1)
Honestly season 2 is my favorite, but there's honest to god something special about season 1. About how I've rewatched season 1 FAR more times than I rewatched any other season.
I equally like Aelita being human as being not human--either idea is great to me. I just really love Aelita. But the whole government conspiracy tying it all up (or fraying it at the edges as it were) is where I lost interest. I'm not interested in the adults responsible. I'm interested in the kids. I'm interested in the people that were representing my age at the time I was watching it. I'm interested in things that don't have answers, and I don't want answers. I just want to sit and kind of just absorb it all in wonder. The more answers the show struggled to answer the more I just kind of...wanted it to go back to where there weren't "answers".
I don't need answers to enjoy something fully. And Lyoko was something I never needed an answer to. Neither was XANA. "Mad scientist created a supercomputer, virus, and virtual world" is good enough for me. Now show me the fantasy, the present characters, the monster of the week. The geekiness. :V gimme that. that's all i need. That's all i ever wanted.
ruffcream replied to your post:how's warriors orochi going
you are like the only person who plays the series that i know of that pays attention to Taishi Ci omg

i am going to draw
so much naughty fanart
they'll have no choice but to appease me
ruffcream replied to your post:OC fact: one of my main OCs, Cammie, has an intense fear of fire, even though she doesn't fully understand why. Its meant to foreshadow some sort of 'secret' concerning her 'race', the Dolls.
Cammie’s hair is both ridiculously long and flammable. I could just imagine a typical situation now
Beth has the physical grace of a double-amputee'd toad on ice on a good day and the tact of a completely shitfaced warthog. Any good intentions from her are going to end badly. very very badly.
oh hey there's a butterfly on the back of your neck. lemme get it /smacks yumi's neck
"Do you just want to get punched?"
