Oh, wow, this is a good one actually. I have a few relating to ‘sacrifice’ that I want to develop more, so here goes.
First off, her view of sacrifice ( as in giving up something for the greater good ) is something along the words of ‘necessity’. Her job heavily circles around the concept of sacrificing people to make room for others, sacrificing civilizations to make room for others, etc. Sacrifice as a religious action is something she’s not entirely fond of, because no one makes sacrifices to her and she gets jealous.
Entropy is not one to make sacrifices anymore, and she finds the whole concept of self-sacrifice to be ridiculous and detrimental to society in a way, and for that she’s relatively less irritated by it. But near the beginning of her existence, she saw no problem with sacrificing something she liked for the well-being or just short term happiness of someone else. Of course, few people reciprocated this act, and eventually she stopped being as naive.
If she were to run into the personification of Sacrifice, her first impression of the other concept would go somewhere along the lines of what she has of most concepts that near the middle between order and chaos, which is - why are you here and why do you exist. Although, Sacrifice seems like he’d be unplaceable on the scale, because it’s an act done to create order, but then it pushes the person who sacrificed further down the spiral of degeneration. Entropy would have a feeling that she’s higher in status and power than Sacrifice because what she represents has to do with his/her job. She would mock Sacrifice quite often, and perhaps she might see them as a cure to boredom at first. Though whether or not she hates or likes Sacrifice would depend on further interactions.
And now the weather for a sacrifice she made in her past.
Entropy had to ‘sacrifice’ her fear of herself and her powers as well as a lot of other things so that she could continue on with her job and her purpose. Fear is the one thing that keeps people safe and relatively ‘sane’ in the eyes of society, so to sacrifice the ability to feel fear is a dangerous thing to do. Therefore, Entropy sacrificed not only the ability to feel fear, but also a majority of her own safety, and if she weren’t immortal, I’m sure she would’ve died hundreds of times due to the length of the timeline she’s from. However, when she actually did ‘sacrifice’ fear, Order had insured that there would be some left, not enough to spark an actual fear reaction, but enough to cause distaste and discomfort— of order and patterns and anything along those lines.
