Figurines of Ragu and Ruiso from the “Of Conquests and Consequences” webcomic :D. A gift for Joolita/ @our-little-nonsense which was made for her birthday... however I am posting it only now, because my genius self forgot to take the photos before giving it to her, and then kept forgetting to post it XD

But finally, they are here! And, um... I admit, it was a challenge to make them XD Last time I had anything to do with clay or polymer clay was more than 10 years ago, and even then I didn’t do such small sculptures (they’re about the size of an egg).

And the motivation to go through it without much prior experience? - “Ha! My friend might expect a drawing, she will never guess I shall do this!”

Obviously there’s a loooot I wish I’d do better but still, it was worth it :D

Honestly, girls, you deserve proper fanarts and you shall get one some day, but if you don’t mind me pulling pop team epic level of visual finese on OCaCs, and still regard me as a friend, I don’t know what more blessing I can ask from life XD

My friends @our-little-nonsense recently finished the first volume of their webcomic, “Of Conquests and Consequences”. Congratulations on achieving this milestone! I am so proud of you ; u ; Have a great vacation, and I’m looking forward towards the vol. 2 <3

Long overdue fanart of Ragu and Ruiso from @our-little-nonsenses’ wonderful comic. The sketch has been lying on my computer for ages but because I’m so badly organised I couldn’t get round to finishing it.

I’m really sad about Ruiso’s fate in the last pages and I kind of wanted to imagine the two of them as allies instead of enemies...maybe fighting a common foe or smth?

Ugh, recently everything I draw is sketchy...what’s with my linearts?

Dang it, I promised to draw him happy, and yet... well, next time maybe. ;p

Anyway, omg. Traditionals. Promarkers. It's been too long. I got spoiled by cintiq and digital art so much, that I didn't do any proper traditional artwork for over a year. It was bothering me so much, but somehow I couldn't bring myself to do any, simply because it was easier to grab a tablet pen and do stuff digitally with all these fancy transform tools, layer effects, multiple layers, undo... then I bought this Reeves drawing board. It's not very pricy, but it makes drawing very comfortable and healthy for the posture, so hopefully it will encourage me to go back to traditionals, even if just a little :D

A bunch of fan comics, featuring @our-little-nonsense characters from their Of Conquests and Consequences comic. These are products of my sudden outbursts of derpy creativity, caused by conversations with Joolita :D

Initially drawn as random separate scenes... but soon I realised they veeeeery losely form some sort of a weird continuity. Though I don’t know how much sense they make to those, who didn’t read the comic (read it!). Long story short, both here, and in the comic itself, reality treats Ruiso’s expectations of becoming a hero with a HEAVY dose of cynisism.

God bless Joolita and Munen for their tolerance to what I do to their poor characters, especially Ruiso... Poor red-haired cinnamon bun, I need to draw him happy next time.
