Renji was stunned by the revelation, completely disregarding everything else instantly. He didn't know what to say, and couldn't really wrap his mind around it. Maybe she was talking about sometime in the future, surely. She didn't mean right now, since well, they hadn't even reached that far yet in their blossoming relationship. Yeah, that had to be it.
