Rule Explanations Under The Cut

No Escape Rule - when a penalty is taken the players of the penalised team who were on the ice at the time of the infraction must stay on the ice until the next face off

Jailbreak Goals - a short handed goal will also release a penalised player from the penalty box

Draft Points - A team that is out of contention for playoffs but still has regulation games left to play can rollover their league points into the next years draft

Full Contact - does what it says on the tin

3 Point System - opposed to typical 2 point systems PWHL has 3pts for a regulation win, 2pts for an OT win, 1pt for an OT loss and 0pts for a regulation loss
