it's canon but it's always a fun fact that Jackson loves Lucille very much :3 and Johanne is heavily considering looking into dating apps nowadays instead of staring into the VOID that is her phone screen

And Lucille loves him immensely! After all, whom else would she be able to spend her days with and relish in enjoying what he does? Jackson will always be the joy in her day and the person that keeps her pushing forward.

...Although, the mention of poor Jo, almost makes me want to reinstate Lucian somehow. The lady could use an idiot friend who might try to make her smile with his jokes and pranks?

I mean, he could be suave…maybe.

     Both hybrids were more than willing to sheepishly grin this time. Mostly because both of them were currently covered in sticks, leaves and every other manner of plant life that came from the ground around their campsite. But Harmony seemed to be the happiest and used one of her fingers to point at her father almost proudly. 

     “I learned dat Daddy’s ticklish on his sides. Ya gotta get him right under his ribs, but he falls over laughing if ya get it right!” The pup squealed as Volt made a playful grab for her and the pair were right back to chasing and wrestling in the grass. Thankfully all the growls and sounds made from the pair were all in good fun and the majority of the time it was Volt who was being pounced on by his daughter.

“AND WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED TODAY?”

     By the look on her face, Harmony had learned a very valuable lesson today while keeping Tails company so her father could take Sonic somewhere special. It wasn’t the fox babysitting, not at all and that was the story Volt would stick to when they got back. But the pup was still sticking her tongue out and holding onto the wire that had suspicious looking teeth marks in it with her hands. 

     “Dat ya dun chew on something if ya dun know what it is.” Did she shock her tongue... Maybe, just a little.

"And what have you learned today?"

     This wasn’t someone that either of them recognized or knew the face of, but judging by the question that had been asked, the feline had to have seen what had just happened as Volt cleaned the remnants of the ice cream from the front of his daughter’s bandana. The pup was a bit to preoccupied with trying to remove the bits of chocolate chip from her muzzle to answer, but at least her father would. 

     “Next time I should probably hand her the spoon before I give her the cup of ice cream so she doesn’t just try to bury her face in it?” It was meant to be teasing and did get him a raspberry from his daughter, which he responded in kind by blowing on against her cheek. What was the use in getting upset over a mess when Harmony was only four and still having fun with some of their antics. 

     “Or we can get cones and ya won’t gotta worry about da spoon at all.” She had a point.
