It was cold, and wet. He'd grown to enjoy feeling water, water that wasn't used for drinking, but feeling cold? Not so much. Still, he marveled at what was falling from the sky, in a way that never happened in his present. The hedgehog shivered, just slightly, before his view was obstructed. More importantly, he didn't feel the cold rain anymore.

Which was a godsend.

"What's that?"

A simple question, as his gaze shifts down towards a face he could recognize. Thank goodness for that, too. Silver wasn't the most confident around total strangers. But he knew this person's name, and had an idea of the kinds of things they did. Best of all, they had believed him when he mentioned being from the future.

"I just love it when water falls from the sky. I think it's the most amazing thing ever. It's like the sky is giving life to the rest of the world."

Silver found himself smiling. Perhaps, even grinning just a little bit?

"I don't know how the water gets into the sky without us seeing it, but it must be something. I just wish it wasn't so cold. Cold is really hard for me, so uh... thanks for the water protection. All I can do is lift my hands over my head, but it's not nearly as big as this thing."

He was a rather interesting person. Highly desirable on his own, maybe, but he seemed like he had a good head on his shoulders. She herself was always studying something. Most recently, it was potion making. Brewing potions seemed most fascinating a thing to do, and it could have many health benefits.

"I do apologize, I have not even properly introduced myself." Holding out her dress, she bows her head in show of respect. "I am Zelda. Princess of Hyrule."

Today was rather full of sunshine, and it was nice to have a day like this with a guest. Spring in Minasato had a tendency to be very rainy, so you had to take the sunshine where you could get it. With a little help from his guest, the blanket is set down, plenty of nature surrounding them.

"I like this spot. A lot of rare birds come around here to sing."

( take the call center job, trust me I had issues with being on the phone as well- Still have tbh mostly anxiety but, after a while you sorta build like your own speech, which you repeat so often that it becomes automatic, and it's like a shield on its own. All in all, not that much of a bad experience, except for when you got like, a really bad call :tm: )

Yeah that seems to be what im leaning towards now. Its just the sales thing is harder to say no to nhbjvghcffvgjhb

“Pick a card, any card!”

He was feeling a little more tame today. No big mischief up his sleeve, just an innocent game. He shuffled the deck quite well, it made a rainbow over his own head. Now he held four out to be taken. A heart, a diamond, a spade, and a club. Each was number eight. This was a strange looking stranger, but he’d come to understand that monsters could take on almost any form.

Weirdos that they were, they still deserved the chance to play.

“Come on! Come on! Any will do! Pick the card that is perfect for you!”

     Both hybrids were more than willing to sheepishly grin this time. Mostly because both of them were currently covered in sticks, leaves and every other manner of plant life that came from the ground around their campsite. But Harmony seemed to be the happiest and used one of her fingers to point at her father almost proudly. 

     “I learned dat Daddy’s ticklish on his sides. Ya gotta get him right under his ribs, but he falls over laughing if ya get it right!” The pup squealed as Volt made a playful grab for her and the pair were right back to chasing and wrestling in the grass. Thankfully all the growls and sounds made from the pair were all in good fun and the majority of the time it was Volt who was being pounced on by his daughter.
