Christmas Carole: Would you change your name if you could?

Oooh, I actually wouldn’t want to change my name at all. Because the name Elaina has a lot of meanings for me? First of all, I am a huge mythology geek, esp Greek. So Elaina comes from Helen which means moon, light and to elope. Cool huh? It doesn’t stop there. 

It also is my parents’ names + my Chinese name. My parents picked that first. So my dad’s name is Lei, my mom is Yiping (pronounced yee-ping). My Chinese name is Yu Na. So Yi+Lei+Na = Elaina! 

A little rant here but my parents were so dumb. Why? Because they had this wonderful name planned out. Leon. Like my brother’s Chinese name is Liang so it follows the same pattern as mine. But no. They listened to 6year old me and named him after my then-best friend Nathan (just so you know, we haven’t talked in YEARS). 

Anyway, ranted too long. So I wouldn’t want to change it???

Hot Cocoa: What’s your favorite thing about yourself?

Personality-wise or physically? Physically, I’d have to say my smile :3 and I’m really vain about my hair. Personality-wise, I’d say my resilience, my ability to bounce back. It may take a couple of days, but it’s still something I take some pride in ;3; I’ve been told I’m really empathetic, but right now it’s…as one of my friends said “compassionate to a fault”

Stocking: What color are your socks right now?

Black as my soul. They’re massive ‘cause I stole them from my dad (they’re warm okay?)
