Take Back The Night is a national event to raise awareness for the issue of sexual violence against women on campus. Portland State University invited women resource advocates from across the city to educate the masses on outlets for survivors to safely engage in the healing information process.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch was suppose to make a presence at the community forum of the PDX gang task enforcement but her plane was mysterious late when word protestors might shut it down. Moderator Antoinette Edwards made it clear she would be selective with who she called on even though it was a public assembly. She continue to praise the police for the "great" job they are doing to make the community safe. When Teressa Raiford laid down statistics of the deaths, incarceration rate, and profiling Ms Edwards rudely disrupted the meeting trying to cause an argument. The meeting ended when the gatekeeper was cornered with the REALITY that faces the POC in PDX. We I'll be back and we will make our voices heard.
