I love Abigail and I hope she stays in the show and becomes a daughter/sister type figure in Hannibal's life. I really don't think Hannibal will kill Abigail either. I wonder if Abigail will find out about Hannibal's double life or not.

Me too! I'm gonna assume the main cast will make it to the end of the season, just so they've left their options open should we get a series 2! I don't expect any big departures, and I think more needs to happen with Abigail anyway. We only have 4 episodes to go.

I think she already has some sense of it? Maybe not exactly what is up but she knows something is going on. And at first I think he was worried about his secret~ and that she would spill it....but now it's something that's clearly bonded them. She's probably the person who has seen the most of what he is (and lived) - they disposed of a body together!

I have a gut feeling that something will happen to Abigail and it will send Hannibal over the edge even more.

People keep asking "Will Hannibal kill her?" and I don't believe so myself, I mean aside from the fact that he's way too close to everything right now to be so foolish, I genuinely don't believe he would. But the idea of something happening to her and him having to deal with that had never crossed my mind, but that would be so interesting. And again, that could be another Hannibal Rising style storyline.

I'm curious to see if they tie her storyline up this season or not. I hope not though, because what she brings to the story, especially with Hannibal, is great. Them and their special little murder bond.

Do you think Abigail is going to be the Mischa of the television series Hannibal? Or will we see flashbacks of Mischa in an upcoming episode of the show?

The timing of this is great after my last reblog haha.

I don’t even know if the show wants to mention a sister at all in this timeline, so there’s no role to fill in that sense. But I think they’ve definitely taken inspiration from his relationship with Mischa, and Hannibal Rising in general for this storyline.

Mostly though, it feels like a set up of what could ultimately happen with Clarice (or a Clarice-like character if they don’t get the rights) in the Hannibal timeline. Abigail is definitely not a Clarice character, their stories are very different, so his attempts to make a little sister (or daughter for the show) may be more successful here. Oeuf already kind of gave us scenes from the book ending, and that all centers around his feelings for Mischa too.

So….yes and no, I guess.

I kinda wish Clarice was Hannibal's psychiatrist in the television series and they start a relationship. If we see Clarice in the television series who do you want to play her.

I'd be fine with something happening between him and Bedelia, but I'd like Hannibal and Clarice to meet the way they do in the book. Their relationship is really special to me the way it happened so I wouldn't want that dynamic to change. She knows who he is the second they meet, while everyone in the tv show right now is gonna get a huge shock (understatement lol) and likely, and fairly, start to hate him.

And God, I suck at fan casting to be honest with you, so I don't have a dream Clarice. I guess this is good because I can't be too disappointed?

But if we could do magic and make Julianne Moore be in her 20's, can you imagine these two faces on screen together?

I'd just sit there every week thinking "Who the hell sculpted your faces?!?"

If we see Clarice in the television series of Hannibal. Do you think the writers would put Hannibal and Clarice together?

If they get that far, THEY BETTER!!

But seriously, Bryan has actually said they would go past the book ending of Hannibal, so I guess they'd be together.
