Been thinking a lot about how lately everyone wants to be a DJ but no one wants to dance anymore.

I’ve been dancing most part of my life, (consuming art), and consuming amazing stories has reawakened my creativity vein.

Currently sitting at my doctors office while going through my drafts, found this, essentially this was my original idea: Levi lovingly rawdogging Runa while he pulls at her hair a little and kisses her, but then confesses he doesn’t like it when she sleeps at Erwin’s office or when she disappears on him or basically when she’s with another man because she’s his.

Btw, little concept art of my OC Runa Weiss. She’s a veteran scout, but she got injured during an expedition before Levi joined the Survey Corps, so she actually has some scars. It’s a shy girl who’s way of coping is isolation. I look forward to developing more of her story as I write more for her and Levi, of course. I actually think of writing some journal entries so you can see how she thinks and sees the world.

Almost a year ago, I started falling in love with life and music again. I started to feel alive and giddy every time I listened to music, specifically when I listened to “ We Move Like the Ocean” by Bad Suns. I’m the kind of person who creates fake scenarios in her head when she’s really enjoying the music. That is what drove me to outline the plot for a possible Modern AU fanfic between Levi and my OC, Runa Weiss, who’s in a band.

My idea was to attach songs that already existed to each performance that the band did on the fic, but y’all know what happens when you’re excited for a project, imagining it’s the easy part, and actually writing it becomes a pain in the ass.

Lately, my life has been a complete chaos, and while it’ll be completely valid to wish to go back to the simpler times, like last year, I really don’t want to, because I’m actually planning a moving and I’m about to start studying a second career. While that might mean less time to write, that also means my own space and more peace for me and more mental stability.

I decided to write this here because even if it’s been a year since I conceived this idea, I’m still not over it, and I have decided I will write this story even if it takes time. That’s the challenge I will not back down from.
