Getting really emotional about my ship w Warp rn,,,,

It's the childhood best friends to lovers trope, but with the added experience of being separated for years, having to basically get to know each other all over again and STILL choosing each other. STILL falling more than a little bit in love.

Warp finally letting his devious side show, the secret he'd kept from me for years no longer a secret; Like his true self bared to me for the first time.

Me finally having learned to not only stand up for myself, but also to make the unjust system fall at my feet. Releasing the feelings of rejection and rage that I harbored and hid throughout our academy days.

Just.... Us finally seeing each other for who we really are, unfiltered... And falling in love all over again. He and I really are connected at the soul :b

Warp agreed to take me to the House of Mouse, but only once. Of course, there were a lot of jokes made that night at his expense… They were only a little hilarious :b

So BLoSC Rain and Warp were childhood best friends. He thought that they were kind of a crybaby, but he protected them throughout school. They graduated together. Warp was athletic, smart, and succeeded without ever trying. Rain has trouble keeping up, but everything they and Warp did, they did together. So when Warp enrolled in the Star Command Academy, so did Rain. He worked the fieldwork side of things, while they were much happier on the tech side.

When Warp got on Zurg's payroll, though, he had to keep it a secret from everyone.... Including Rain. This tore him up inside, but the money was just too good to pass up! He was super smart, but was suddenly able to pay off his teachers to pass him instead of putting in the work. He started surrounding himself with beautiful women. Raine as working their hardest to keep up with him, but they were so exhausted, the mental toll the Star Command job was taking on them was great. Warp used it as a motivator, something to say "Look at what happens when people slave their lives away for the good guys."

Warp went on to be one of Star Command's finest, partnered with his Academy roommate, Buzz. The money was getting better and better for Warp. but Rain? They were isolated, lonely, overworked, horrified by Star Command claiming to help people while being horribly biased... But at least they had Warp to talk to, right...?

Then Warp died on duty, and Rain snapped. Their best friend, their lover, their soulmate, had just lost his life on a mission and they were expected to pick up the pieces and keep going? They were replacing him as Buzz's partner just like that, like he was nothing? It drove them to rage. Suddenly, after all the years of letting Warp fight their battles, it was their turn to fight for him.

Toxxin was born that night, when suddenly all of Star Command's defenses went offline, all of their computers crashed, all their funds transferred and stolen, and nobody could identify the virus that had done it. That wasn't enough, though. Star Command had taken the love of their life away from them. The organization had to suffer a slow, drawn out demise at their hands. So they posed as an innocent bystander, pretending to work on decoding the virus for the higher ups while they syphoned more money and weakend the system from within.

Word travelled around about this new villain, and Zurg knew he had to have this tech genius on staff! He sent his new agent, Agent Z, to check out this potential new hire and extend an offer they couldn't refuse.

Toxxin wasn't too keen on being bought out, and it wasn't until they were face to face in a heated battle, Agent Z knocking Toxxin's mask clean off, that he realized just who he was dealing with. He left them there, and the battle was over.

That night, though, he showed up at the window of a certain office late at night where he knew they would be. They always spent late weekends in the office pretending to work. When Rain panicked, Agent Z revealed himself, removing his own mask and bearing his face to them; The face of their lover, their light, their best friend in the world. He was alive!! He was working for Zurg. He wasn't dead!! He faked his death and hurt them. He was there!! He came to ask them to run away with him- To join Zurg's payroll with him, and become his partner once again.
