first sprite designs for my little swap au, runaway tale!! toriel is the royal scientist, sans is the ruins-goer, and papyrus is the underground’s superstar! made in piskel!

mettaton, taking the place of chara in my au, runawaytale! he fell down into the underground, and died on impact, becoming a ghost. toriel, the royal scientist, thought that he was a monster, and did not connect the body with the ghost she found and “adopted”.  she crafted him a robot body, which his soul’s power molded the look of to be similar to his human body. realizing that he had the soul of the human in a world of monsters, and realizing that he had so much more knowledge and power than those who were overseeing him, he ripped through the underground and murdered everyone, resetting the game and tearing through again and again until he grew bored, putting himself out of commission and hiding his robot body in the rocks, leaving everyone alive.
